Filters MUST be cone shape, not flat on the bottom. Perfect, coffee tastes so much better using this
Perfect, coffee tastes so much better using this. I like that you can peel off the red brand sticker and have it be plain black. Well made ceramic.UPDATE: filters can’t be flat on the bottom or they’ll tear. They have to be cone shaped filters. I find the cone shape filters harder to find and spend more on them through Amazon. You’ll find a lot of the flat shaped filters everywhere. The flat shaped filters will tear because of the weight pushing down the coffee. If the filter is pointy and cone shaped just like the maker, it won’t rip.

Highly recommend
I couldn't wait to try this out. Previously we used a hard plastic dripper but it didn't last very long and my husband suggested getting glass or ceramic, I wasn't too keen on the glass but this one is just what I expected while watching over it for a couple of days I decided to get it and I am very pleased. Works grest, quick and easy clean-up. Might get another one so we can make both of our coffee at the same time. Great price and will make a great gift too.

Good value replacement for Hario
I bought this to replace a chipped Hario dripper. Similar to Hario V60 02 ceramic dripper, but the hole is slightly smaller and the finish is matte rather than glossy. No problems washing it on top rack of dishwasher.I use Hario 02 filters but sometimes the coffee drips sideways from the bottom rim into the cup rather than directly straight down from the filter like with the Hario. This isn’t a problem if you keep the dripper clean and don’t store it on a dirty counter.Overall a good value but minus one star for the dripping issue.

Good size for one large cup of coffee
I learned about pour over coffee from a coworker of mine. I wanted to try it out, but when I searched on amazon, I saw very expensive options. I did not want to spend a large amount of money on one, but also did not want to sacrifice on quality. Took a risk on this product, but am thoroughly impressed by the quality of this coffee maker. No rough edges anywhere, and a sturdy construction. Very satisfied.

Quick and easy to use
This Mecraft coffee dripper is perfect for me. It makes a smooth and delicious cup of coffee, and it is so easy to clean. Use #2 paper cone coffee filters are a great fit, it drains out a little quickly but it doesn’t seem to effect the flavor in a bad way .I love strong coffee, and this allows me to make a nice strong cup in less than 3 minutes.Overall very convenient!

You had one job!!
I bought this as a gift for my partner. Unfortunately, the filters always tear at the bottom. I thought it might be because the ends of the spiral, at the hole in the bottom, were quite sharp. I filed them down with an emery board but have not used it yet. When I came here to leave my negative review, I see others were having the same issue with the filters tearing. I hope it's not because the hole is just too big. Don't want to have wasted my money.UPDATE: Filing it seemed to work! My partner has torn one or two filters but that might because he is not as delicate as I.

No bueno
The base of this coffee maker is not wide enough to fit over most coffee mugs. You have to be careful and pouring hot water for fear it could tip over easily. And it's heavy! Also paper filters #2 don't fit well on the cone shaped coffee maker. The bottom of my filters were torn and leaked every time time I used this coffee maker. I bought a plastic version from Melitta and it works 100x better!

Makes good coffee.
My first intro to pour over coffee. Works as advertised. I think the hole at the bottom is a little big, but since this is my first pour over coffee set up, I'm not sure. People compare it to a haro v60 (?) I know my coffee shop uses them and I can't tell a difference in the coffee that's made between mine and theirs. Oh the red sticker can come off if you don't want it.
