Enfain5-Pack 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drives – Swivel Thumb Drives with LED Indicator & 12 Labels | Multicolor for Organization | PC/Mac/Linux Compatible

These drives work great on my embroidery machine, which is what I actually bought them for. I don't like huge USB drives for the emb machine because it takes them forever to go through and pull up all of the designs, and then finding the right design is a nightmare, so I put, for instance, the napkin designs I want to use this time on one drive & put that drive with the blank napkins; the t-shirt designs for these particular t-shirts on another drive & put it with the blank t-shirts, etc. However, I also wanted to use one USB drive for just Christmas songs for my car (for that oh-so-merry month of the year). I have two other USB drives (a 4GB and a 32GB) that work in the car just fine, but for some reason, no matter how I format these (they come preformatted in FAT), the car doesn't even recognize that these drives are inserted, let alone recognizing the files on the drives (I stopped trying after two). They do, however, work in my home stereo. Hence, the four stars instead of five.

New car...no CD...no problem! (Can't stand satellite radio; want to listen to what I want to listen to when I want to listen to it! NOT an audio streamer at all. Had about 200+ CDs on HD of previous can(s)) So, my music needs to be via phone or USB and bluetooth audio quality (in my situation) is inferior to USB. Bought a 5-pack of 4g Enfain drives; have copied to and used 4 and couldn't be more pleased.1) Like the "feel" of what certainly seems to be quality construction that indicates a long life; metal "frame" surrounding plastic drive body, solid swivel and simply impressive in regard to quality of the product.2) Same as many available, I like the color "coding"3) Convenient to label! With ample supply of labels re-labeiing will be possible...without creating some kind of mess.4) Drives came very well packaged in a plastic tray in a "windowed" box. Very nice touches, indeed.5) May not be needed, but a small info/instruction pamphlet is provided! With specs, FAQs and descriptions. Little things that indicate the concern the manufacturer/seller has for the consumer. I appreciate those things!6) If one desires, engraving on the metal "frame" is available.Have ordered another set of 5...and more in the future if necessary.

This is the only size and type thumb drive I lpurchase and use for my embroidery designs. The capacity of 2gb is perfect and the recommended storage for my embroidery machines.

One needs to be careful ordering these flash drives. I've tested 2 of the 5 I ordered using Windows 7 and they seem OK. However, I ordered these to provide music in my 2017 Subaru Forester - Harmon-Kardon sound system. Neither of these work there. I can get a directory, but no music. In Windows 7, when I first attached one of these to upload files, I saw a brief window that said something like "new device detected." My thinking is that, for some reason, these flash drives need a driver to work properly. Windows has this drive on-board, and can install it, but the firmware in my Subaru (and perhaps other devices?) is at a loss. <<My analysis.

I use these for playing music files and they work just great. I have added and cleared the drives several times over with no complaint. The description says the blue and black drives don't have lights that flash and that was important to me. My drives and I are very happy and will be we'd in the fall.

Purchased 5 multicolor 16 gb drives... functioned as needed, without any drive failure or other issues. Cannot comment on speed of drives, as my purchase intent was economical drives for transferring large bulk of photos to family members. In that regard they worked perfectly. The drives also come with affixable labels, which is a nice touch.Of note is that of the five colors, only three were visibly lit with a function light when inserted (due probably to opacity of given plastic?). Still, a noted aberration in consistency.

Needed to transfer photo files to another PC. This was an OK size for the job. I found that the transfer rate was slower than some other thumb drives that I have: claimed 4-6MB/Sec and seems to be about 50% slower than similar Sandisc product. Fine if you do not mind the slower speed.

Let’s face it, buying a 2G memory stick feels like traveling back in time. However, we were told that my wife’s Bernina sewing machine required old school technology (have no idea what the limitation is, but do know that a Bernina branded thumb drive costs 60 bucks, so it was worth a try) and these worked perfectly.
