Product Description Chocolate Picture Maker is a creative, chocolate toy that allows you make and personalise your own chocolate bar. With the world's love of chocolate & the huge rise in the popularity of personalised gifts, we believe that our Chocolate Picture Maker is quite simply one of the most innovative, but simple, new products to hit the toy/confectionery market in years. Simply melt the chocolate in warm tap water and use the 100% Belgian white, milk and dark chocolate to create your very own design or personalised message on the activity tray. Once set, this is a lovely gift for a family member or friend, or you could even eat this yourself! Directions Place all three bags of chocolate into a bowl of warm tap water. Whilst these are melting chose your stencil and lie the activity tray over the stencil, so that the face of the tray is touching the paper. The chocolate should only take 3-5 minutes to melt and you can test this by squeezing the bag to check that there are no lumps left. Firstly take the dark chocolate and snip a very small hole in the end. Use this to trace the outline of your design. Once complete take the white chocolate, snip the corner again and colour in your design. Finally use the milk chocolate to cover the entire of the back of the tray including over the top of your design – you can snip a bigger hole in this than in the dark chocolate. Once you have used all your chocolate place in the fridge for 20-30 minutes to set. You are now ready to either gift your chocolate bar to a friend or family member, or to eat it yourself!

kids loved it . Great for a rainy day play date
Nearly impossible to make these bars look like they do on box with squeezing the chocolate from sliver foil packs . Saying that the kids loved making them didn't care much for how they looked in the end . Chocolate tastes great to . Will buy again great for rainy day play date .

Arts & Crafts for dads, and you can eat it!
This is good. Terribly good.Supplied for review, I used this with our 4-year old daughter and we had such good fun with it. She was very proud that she made her own chocolate bar, to her own design. It is surprisingly simple to use. In the box you get 50g of milk chocolate, 20g of white chocolate and 10g of dark chocolate per pack (so if you get the 4 pack, you receive 4 of each). You also receive a number of stencils (i.e. drawings on paper). The packets of chocolate are silvered, and contain the chocolate in button form. That is critical as it enables them to melt quickly in mere warm water. To use, simply melt the chocolate by putting it in a bowl of warm water. The instructions tell you not to use a microwave, and I can verify that warm water (not even too hot to hurt your child's hand) works fine - I was sceptical about that. Then put the stencil underneath the clear plastic tray supplied (which is the reservoir for what is to become your chocolate bar) and start tracing an outline using the plain chocolate. You pipe the chocolate by cutting a corner off the bag - it is critical that you make a tiny hole (e.g. 0.5mm in diameter). If you make it too large, try again using another corner. Too large a hole means firstly your piping will be too thick, and secondly you will pipe too much chocolate and it will run out prematurely. This is critical: *Think of the dark chocolate as your fine line for drawing with, and the milk and white chocolate as paint for filling in. Draw the fine lines first; fill with white chocolate; then fill anything left, and bind it all together, with the milk chocolate*. If you do that, you will have got it in one.The dark chocolate holds its shape well i.e. it pipes like icing, and acts as a barrier to stop the milk & white chocolate spreading. The milk and white chocolate spread like spilt paint (due to their high fat content - hey, using this product is a little science lesson about all the fat present in white & milk chocolate). So, if like us you want a white circle the size of a 1p coin to represent the centre of a flower, pipe a circle first using dark chocolate and then fill it with the white chocolate. I omitted the former and the white chocolate oozed everywhere. But it still wasn't bad. What surprised me was that you really do not have to wait for the chocolate to solidify before adding the next colour of chocolate. The result was superb. And very tasty. It looked superb.Dads, if you turn your eyes up at the idea of Arts & Crafts with your kids, buy this. It's great. And a little science lesson about fat in chocolate. And your kids get to eat it (I did get a tiny bit). And the chocolate is really tasty. I doubted that it would taste good, but it did. Very good.Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest & unbiased review.

A delicious gift or pastime for any chocoholic!
Disclosure: I received a free product in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. The supplier did not influence my opinions of the product in any way at all. This is a really yummy chocolate production and design kit and was an absolute joy for myself as a confirmed chocoholic to test.I was lucky enough to receive the larger kit which makes 4 bars. The package contains 4 packs of milk chocolate drops which are melted to form the chocolate bar itself plus a further 4 packs of plain and white chocolate drops which are melted to provide the decorative effects. Each of the foil packs are melted in warm water for 3-5 minutes and once fully melted they are ready to use, starting with the plain chocolate. Snipping off the tip of the corners of each foil sachet enables it to be used to sketch a design outline. Either the designs supplied can be used by placing them beneath the clear plastic trays or you can create your own designs, as I did (a mix of rabbits and flowers – although my artistic abilities are somewhat limited). Next, the white chocolate is used to colour in the design – a white bunny in my case along with white leaves and flower petals. Once I’d got the hang of it, later bars had a mix of brown and white rabbits with eyes, whiskers and a few little ‘bunny accidents’ behind their tails (call it my sense of humour). The final step was to use the milk chocolate to fill the tray over the design then pop it into the fridge for 30 minutes to set into a crisp fresh bar of quality chocolate with a unique design.Although this set is marketed towards children, this 50 year young child thoroughly enjoyed using it and both I and my similarly-aged husband enjoyed the results. We’ve saved a further two packs from the kit and will make another design for Christmas.I could imagine children of any age having great fun with this too. It’s not difficult nor even particularly messy but it is fun and it’s rewarding to produce a unique chocolate bar at the end to look forward to. It isn’t even ‘junk’ chocolate either but rich and creamy milk and white chocolate and the plain contains 70% cocoa so it’s made from quality ingredients. I was also pleased to see the long expiry date on my kit – not that there would be any chance of it remaining unused for nearly a year!A great product and idea backed by quality ingredients and some of the clearest guidance notes I’ve ever seen. A super gift or pastime for a wet winter weekend.
