Elegant shades!
I bought these shades to replace some beige shades I’d had for years. I had no idea the difference they would make in the looks of our dining room! I was worried the black shades would be too dark, but the shiny gold interior bounces plenty of light into the space, and they look so elegant on our black fixture. Very glad I bought these! They are a bit taller than the last shades I had which I really like, too.

Very nice, but not true gold
I am sad to have to return these. I love the look of the shaded, and the size is great for a chandelier. When lights are on the shades are delightfully sheer so you get fabric texture interest on the shade and the metallic lining bounces light up to the ceiling. the problem I have with these, and the reason I am returning them, is that the lining is not truly gold, it is more orange than yellow/gold in color and ends up reading as copper, and the reflected light from the lining is decidedly orange. If that is not an issue for you, these are great shades.

Cheaply made
Seams were broke open on 4. When put on the light they look light blue with the light on. Returning.

Blinding
Inside is shiny, so it reflects the bulb light right in your face as you are looking at it or trying to turn the lamp off or on.
