great product just too small for what I need it to clamp

I wanted this to hold a bike cam on my bike whislt out cycling. It is far better and far more versatile than the mounting bracket that came with the camera. However, the main problem with this is the vibration. The clamp onto the handlebars is fine aand tightend up very firmly, and the variable angle and rotation are both tightened by thumb screws. However, there is one adjustment that allows you to change from mounting horrizontally on the handlebars to vertically such as on the handlebar stem and this is purely a spring holding it in position. Unfortunately this is not very positive or firm so it allows the camera to vibrate a lot. If it wasn't for that it'd be 5-stars across the board!

My clamp broke off on day one. I hope that summarises everything you need to know. The body is made all from plastic. And there is one point where there is a small screw securing the top with Gopro mount and bottom part (clamp) together. This point is the weak point for me as the screw itself was only screwing into plastic without any metal backing, and there is a spring in place to push against it as well. Overtime, the plastic gets weak/brittle and the top part will separate from the bottom, and off your camera goes. I was fortunate that I was playing about with this at home instead of having it mounted on my bike with my Gopro, otherwise it'd have been an expensive lesson.

I use these to attach my PocketWizard flash triggers to my tripod/light stands. It is perfect for that. However, I wouldn't want to mount anything heavy to it, it doesn't seem very sturdy. There is no way I'd put a DSLR and lens on it. I also think there is too much movement in the joints (even when done up tight) to be suitable for a camera. Note this item on Amazon is identical to the ones sold on eBay - you pay more on Amazon but it is available on Prime whereas eBay is cheaper but is shipped from China, so depends if you need speed over cost.

The clamp only works as an additional suport for something light and static. The plastic it's built from is quite soft and there's a lot of slack in the joints so even if you tighten hard it still wobbles. I bought it to hold a small action camera to a ski pole as a boom it's not suitable for that at all.

This clamp looks, feels and functions as if it should cost much, much more! I haven't had to really test it in field conditions as it's going to be used in my studio, but first impressions suggest it's well up to real world use and abuse. Very pleased!

Meine GoPro habe ich am Käfig im Sportwagen mit diesem Halter befestigt ! Durch den Gummipuffer am letzten Gelenkarm, absolut wacklungsfrei :) Klasse Teil !! :)

Je l'utilise pour tenir une commande de flash déporté (YN622TX) avec une rallonge flash, sur le trépied, car l'APN est souvent trop haut et la lecture du YN622TX difficile. La griffe réglable est sûre.

Quizás algo mas grande de lo esperado, pero la ventaja es que se puede acoplar a cualquier tipo de barra incluso con grosores bastante grandes. En mi caso para la bicicleta me viene perfecto, la única pega quizás es que al ser tan rígido a veces la rosca se suelta un poco con las vibraciones, se soluciona apretándolo bien, tiene bastante resistencia y materiales de calidad.

Buena calidad, buen agarre però falta un poco mas de rigidez en el cabezal (fimbrea un pelin).
