****UpdateSnugg sent a new replacement case through that does seem to stand much better, will report back if it frays the same way again.Had a replacement case, and its broken a few months after getting it, im not heavy handed, the plastic is just poor.Let me start by saying I was a Snugg convert with my previous iPhones.Cases were always great, when on the odd occasion I had a problem, they always sorted it out, so I felt confident buying this case when my iPhone 7 Plus arrived... but..Sadly very quickly I was very dissapointed, and the Snugg service when i raised it has been poor.So whats wrong you ask..1) Well its worn badly on the strap for a start as can be seen in the image, it wore in a real short time in fact, a few weeks.2) The phone wont prop upwards for love or money so cant use it except as a flip case, previously I was able to use the case as a stand when the phone was landscape.3) When I raised my issues with Snugg they asked for a video, which of course I cant do as the phone would need to be in the case to show it not standing, so fail there.4) Its cracked easily when i removed my phone a few minutes ago to take a picture of the strap.Very, very dissapointed in the case and the brand now :(Sarah

I was pleased with the case until I dropped it on a carpeted floor and the plastic sleeve holding the phone broke. I've contacted the supplier several times asking them about their 'Lifetime Guarantee' but they won't respond to my emails. I've also tried to raise my concerns about this supplier's worthless guarantee with Amazon but they aren't interested either. Product otherwise OK but beware that the slightest knock will break the flimsy plastic that holds the phone.

The good:As usual, did a bit of research before purchasing this particular case. The case arrives, nicely packed in a presentation box and the quality appeared to be good, nice neat stitching on the leather with no loose or fraying ends. My iPhone 7 fits perfectly and there is no movement when the phone is in the case. The last also holds the case closed nicely.The not so good:The case is less than a week old an already showing signs of wear (see image) to make or receive a call you have to fold the case back on itself so as you can hold the phone comfortably and securely, already the leather is showing signs if splitting where the case folds, I am guessing in a couple of weeks it will have given way completely, not sure if this is a faulty case or whether they all go like this in the end, afraid to say this one will be going back.

Bought for my new iPhone 8 as was worried I might drop it and wanted all round protection for it. Fits well and has a nice feel to it and is a nice dark rich colour grey. I particularly bought this because of the suede like feel on the inside. I haven’t put any cards in the slots yet but I will only be using them for an emergency £10 note. The phone doesn’t get switched off by closing the case but it does go off after the usual few seconds of not being used. The cut outs seem to be in the right places but not all have been tried out yet but the way the inner case has been made means that they probably will (see last photo) a bit pricey but all the cheaper ones didn’t have a suede inner and to be fair it does feel and look like a more expensive cover compared to my previous ones. Would definitely buy again

I purchased this product as I’d had a case from them before for my iPod which some years on is still looking good. However I have been extremely disappointed with the quality of this item. I’ve only had it since August 2020 and it’s pretty much disintegrated. I’m retired and don’t get out much ATM for obvious reasons so it doesn’t get much use. It seems very poor quality and I won’t be ordering another and judging by done recent reviews on here I won’t be getting a response from the company.

Well made good quality case and the beauty is that it does not cover the microphone in any way like many others doJUNE 2018 UPDATE Yes I like these cases Moreso because the bottom end is open which stops distortion of the phone’s microphone. YES! the case looks well made and feels good but alas .......I am on my third one!!!!! the first one the stitching cane undone within weeks. Amazon refunded me AND kindly returned my money which I forgot was hidden in the phone side pocket when I returned it. I bought another case, after a short time the casing had a crack then two, I therefore purchased a third case which I am about to use as case number two has cracked so much I may loose or damage my phone..snugg offer a lifetime guarantee but I was unable to get on their warranty page on their site (I kept getting a warning message) and they have not responded to two emails that I have sent.. so 3 stars for how it looks design and feel. .

The case I have, third one to go with the three phones I’ve had over time. It’s probably the longest I’ve waited, overall to provide feed back I these cases. My criticism isn’t really of the company who supplied my cases, more the manufacturer. They look amazing when new, they fit sufficient credit cards perfectly, as described. However, they are not durable, where the case folds, the material creases and then spilts, my current case looks about 5years old and not the 14months old, which it is! Despite the ‘lifetime guarnatee’ offered, I’ve not bothered pursuing, clearly in my opinion, it’s a shallow offer. Just make the cases more robust, I think I’ve been generous in my two star rating, after all, for appearances, it looks amazing when new, in fact better than other cases I’ve had. It’s the quality and durability which, in my view lets it down.
