Textured Steel Spring Metal PEI Sheet with Double Sided Flex Steel Bed 220 x 220mm

I received this a few days ago and when I picked up the package, wow was it heavy. I have puirchased some magnetic surfaces in the past that came with a magnetic portion and the plate (sometimes even 2 plates) and they were not as heavy as this.Do not mistake this as a complaint! All of the other magnetic surfaces I have bought in the past at this price point, have been underwhelming with thin magnetic surfaces that made me initially question my purchase, but continue to use the products seeing no issues.That changed when this arrived. The 3M magnetic mounting surface included with the spring steel bed is hefty, and is the culprit behind that meatiness of the delivered package. Finally something that I can put faith behind from moment one! This 3M mount was very quickly secured into place, and I was able to easily trim a small portion of the mount where needed (I knew from the time I purchased that this would need done as my printer has an oddball size bed) to ensure a perfect fit.Now lets move on to the spring steel plate. This thing is strong in its own right but flexes easily to pop prints off and doesn't feel flimsy like you'd bend it in the process... like some other brands I won't name here. I was actually kind of startled the first time I used it, as I expected to need to flex the plate more than I actually needed to, and the print excitedly popped up off the plate at me. LOLThe only negative I can say about this product is that it came with no instruction sheet, which I get this is an easy enough process but someone really new to these might have questions about orientation, cleaning, etc... that could be offered on a small insert.Overall am a fan so far and this is my 2nd purchase from Kingroon (also bought some filament I'll be testing and doing a review for soon). Really hope to find some more of their products in my household soon.Score: 4.9/5.0

adhesion is quite finicky, you have to perfectly level the bed, i mean perfectly, and set your nozzle down a little further for the filament to actually stick to the build plate, once that has been done adhesion is ok,

The bed and magnet aren't quite big enough to cover the entire build surface. I think I was sent the wrong size.

Bought to replace the "stock" one that came on my Anycubic Kobra. So didn't use the mag pad cause already had one installed. It is a hair bigger but still fits in the machine and prints come off so smooth and adhear perfectly. When it comes time to need another will definitely get again. Just wish they had the option for just the plate cause I don't need another extra mag pad laying around lol

The plate worked for a couple prints of ABS but now I can't get ABS or PLA to stick to it. I have other PEI sheets on a different printer and have never had any issues with them.Update: the seller reached out and gave me a refund. Wish it had worked but the seller is good and stood behind the product.

One of the best purchases I've made for my 3d printer. The textured side makes it perfect for adhesion.

I purchased this to replace the glass build plate on my Anycubic Kobra Max. I do a lot of large format prints, and this flexible plate makes removal a dream compared to working with the original plate, and the magnetic fastener makes removal and replacement too easy.

I had some failures before getting this to work. On the plus side, it is easier to remove prints since they just don't stick as much.It was very difficult to get my PLA prints to stick to this sheet. The picture shows a print that was supposed to be flat. On larger prints, the raft pulls away from the sheet, ruining the prints.After cleaning with alcohol, re-leveling the bed, raising the bed temperature, and bringing the nozzle closer to the sheet, I am now able to get good prints.

Adhesion isn't brilliant, had to sand one side. Only pla so far. See how it does with others

Bevor ich die PEI Magnetplatte kaufte, druckte ich bei meinem Ender 5 immer auf Glasplatte. Die Haftung der ersten Schicht gestaltete sich zur Glückssache, war gerade bei PETG stark davon abhängig, ob der Abstand zum Druckkopf 100% richtig eingestellt war und sich nicht verändert hatte, aber auch von der absoluten Sauberkeit der Druckplatte.Der Einbau der PEI-Platte gestaltet sich einfach. Allerdings muss beim Ender 5 die original verklebte Magnetschicht erst einmal herunter und das darunter liegende Metallbett sauber und einigermaßen eben gemacht werden. Jedenfalls war das bei meinem Drucker notwendig, da die originale Magnetplatte nicht mehr richtig magnetisch war.Danach wird die mitgelieferte Magnetschicht verklebt und die Federstahlplatte aufgelegt. Sie hält sehr gut fest.Der erste Druck und mehrere weitere Drucke gelangen auf Anhieb. Das von mir hauptsächlich verdruckte PETG hielt und hält beim Druck bombenfest. Nach dem Druck nehme ich die Federstahlplatte einfach ab, lasse sie abkühlen und löse die Bauteile dann durch Verbiegen der Platte. Das Abkühlen ist wichtig, um die PEI Schicht nicht zu beschädigen. Auch das funktioniert einwandfrei.Ich kann diese Platte mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

Me ha encantado este material, es ligeramente rugoso lo que garantiza la adherencia de la primera capa. La instalación es ridículamente sencilla y requiere menos mantenimiento que el cristal. Últimamente a la cama de cristal que tenía la tenía que lavar con agua y jabón prácticamente después de cada impresión o se me despegaba todo. Con esta cama llevo imprimiendo todo tipo de piezas toda la tarde para probarla y estoy encantado, de momento no le veo faltas.

Funcina muy bien, llevo haciendo mis propias impresoras desde el 2014.Siempre imprimí en vidrio con cinta y me resulto muy bien, pero esta Hoja de PEI es muy buena para PLA, no la utilizare para PETG, porque temo de tan bien que funciona se vaya a dañar la hoja. Ya que el PETG se pega muy bien a todo y a veces muy, muy, bien.Llevo mucho tiempo queriendo probar una hoja de PEI y hasta ahora la compre y comprare mas para mis otras maquinas.Muy buen producto lo recomiendo.

Druckqualität ist von der oberfläche her ziemlich gut, es bleiben selten Reste auf dem bed und meistens bekommt man sie gelöst, das bed geht auch nicht so schnell Kapput wie das Standart bed von kingroon. Hab allerdings leichte Probleme mit warping die durch das Benutzen eines brims aber nicht sehr stark sind.
