Love these boots, worn them quite a bit over the last 6 months.My foot feels well supported when walking on uneven ground, and the toe-box is spacious helping with stability. The sole has excellent grip and the tread is wearing quite slowly, it seems a durable rubber was used for them. The leather outer isn't too stiff and didn't really require any breaking in so no blisters so far.There have been no issues with water ingress, they've been through mud and shallow water and my feet have remained dry throughout.Get a tin of wax to help maintain the leather, and a pair of extra laces because they will break at some point.

These photographs are of my boots after 2 and a half years of wear. I have worn them everyday at least twice a day for several miles of dog walking - in woods, on cliffs, over rocks, on the beach and in water. I have not particularly looked after them, other than give them a coat of water proof dubbin a couple of times each winter and I've replaced the laces twice. I've also got through 2 pairs of insoles as the boots (size 9) were a little on the large size for me. The boots continue to be serviceable, they are still waterproof and comfortable. I will certainly replace them with the same when they are eventually retired.

I purchased these in November so have had them for 6 months now.The boots arrive in a nice box with a bag too keep the boots in and a spare pair of laces. They really look quality boots.Originally I got them for a trip to Iceland where I wore them pretty much continuously for 5 days. They really were comfortable, warm and waterproof.The leather on them is sturdy and the soles seem to be pretty indestructible.Since Iceland I’ve worn them most days, in all weathers, for dog walking.The soles of the boots show almost no wear at all.The leather, as you can see from the photos is in good condition. I have never polished or treated them with anything and they remain waterproof.I’ve never had blisters or sore feet from wearing them and really like them.The only issues I’ve had with them are:1. the laces rub on the eyelets and are fraying badly so will need the second pair of laces they sent pretty soon2. Yesterday second eyelet on the right boot broke. The rivet that holds it on just gives out. I had the first one repaired by a cobbler for £1.50 which was ok, now I’ll have to get the second one done. It’s a pain that they are not very reliable but at least they are cheaply fixed.3. The inside heel support / padding is beginning to wear throughOverall I think these are much better quality than I was expecting for the price, and certainly better than the non-leather boots I’ve had before. I would definitely buy them again despite the small issues.

Update 1 year on. May 21 2022.The boots have been through regular wear. Hiking to garden work to light construction. Never leaked. They've paid for themselves at this point. Well worth the money. Extremely slight separation of sole from upper but cosmetic only. Only visible when I pressed it like in photo. Still watertight. I'll buy another pair.Update 3 September 2022I bought another pair. Nothing wrong with the originals but I wanted a fresh pair in brown. For the price these boots are amazing value and extremely comfortable!!May 2021I've only had the boots for two days so I'll update in a month. Thought so far, excellent quality construction and comfortable. I used to purchase boots that cost two or three times as much as these, but I think I'd rather just buy new cheaper boots more regularly instead. I've spent money on more expensive boots that let water in after 6 or 9 months use, hence the decision to try these ones at a cheaper cost. Plus the reviews were excellent so I put a lot of faith in them. I bought gold label dubbin at the same time as that boots and gave them a coating to ensure full leather waterproofing and conditioning. Looking forward to the next heavy rains. Update to follow. Some photos attached.Updated with rain photo. Water beading lovely after two coats of dubbin during the dry weather. It took the dubbin about a day to fully dry in but it does the job perfectly. The one thing I'd say about these boots is that they are very comfortable and light. You'd forget you are wearing them. Will be interesting to see how they wear over time. I wanted comfortable boots which had to be waterproof. Mainly for walking dogs in countryside but also when standing around in the rain at athletics meetings.Firstly these were very comfortable straight out of the box. I wore them on a walking holiday in Switzerland (dry weather) and had no issues at all. The sole is well cushioned so you don't notice walking over stones.During the wet July/August in UK I have worn them walking dogs for an hour in pouring rain and my feet stayed dry. Even at an athletics meet in torrential rain all afternoon my feet stayed dry even with water running off my over trousers onto the boots.I have cleaned them a couple of times and used dubbin on them and they look really smart too.Overall I am really impressed with these. They are excellent value for money.

Habe diese Marke zum ersten Mal bestellt. Da ich knöchelhohe Schuhe gesucht habe, um mit dem Hund draußen trockenen Fußes unterwegs sein zu können, fiel die Wahl auf diesen Schuh. Obermaterial komplett Leder, von daher gehe ich von (wie angegeben) Wasserdichtheit aus. Trage normalerweise eine 43, dieser Schuh scheint aber insgesamt größer geschnitten zu sein und fiel daher zu groß aus. Selbst bei Größe 42 habe ich noch überlegt zu tauschen, da ich in einigen Situationen die Schuhe gerne straffer am Fuß sitzen haben möchte. Mit der großzügigen Schnürung und in kühlerer Jahreszeit dicken Socken sitzt der Schuh in 42 bei mir aber gut, ein wenig Luft bleibt.Etwas Sorge hatte ich in Bezug auf die Verklebung der Sohle, welche hier schon einige Male negativ dargestellt wurde. Da ich noch keinen längeren Spaziergang mit den Schuhen unternommen habe kann ich dazu bisher nichts sagen. Auf den ersten Blick wirkte die Verarbeitung aber nicht unbedingt billig oder 2.Wahl.Was mir sofort positiv beim Testen zuhause auffiel ist die ergonomische Abrundung des Schuhs/Sohle im vorderen Bereich/Vorfuß. Dies macht sich beim Gehen insofern positiv bemerkbar, daß die Sohle bzw. der gesamte vordere Schuh im Ballenbereich beim Abrollen nicht so extrem einknickt wie flach geformte Sohlen. Ich habe schon von daher etwas mehr Vertrauen in die längere Haltbarkeit, mein letzter Wanderschuh ist mir nämlich genau an dieser Knickstelle aufgebrochen und komplett zerfallen, was meine Enttäuschung über die seinerzeit gekaufte Marke (!!!) nach nichtmal einem Jahr intensiver Nutzung nur wieder hochkochen läßt. Man sollte es testen, ist vielleicht zu Anfang ein wenig ungewohnt beim Laufen, mir gefiel es jedenfalls gleich.Freue mich auf längere Haltbarkeit.

Bonne qualité et bonne chaussure de marche. Chausse assez grand, permet une gosse paire de chaussette en hiver. Bon système de laçage, tien bien les chevilles.

Habe mich zuerst etwas geärgert wegen der relativ langen Lieferzeit aus UK, 24.05.-11.06. Dann bekam ich von DHL eine Benachrichtigung, dass ich die Schuhe in der Filliale abholen kann und 17,00 € Zoll und Bearbeitungsgebühren zusätzlich zahlen muss. Aber ich im nachhinein bin ich mit den Schuhen super zufrieden und würde sie jederzeit wieder bestellen. Ich habe Größe 44 mit einer hohen Frist, deshalb habe ich oft Probleme passende Schuhe zu finden oder muss Schuhe in 45 bestellen. Diese Wanderschuhe passen perfekt in 44, ich habe seitlich guten halt und mit dicken Socken nach vorne noch Platz ohne mit den Zehen anzustoßen. Für den Preis macht Qualität einen guten Eindruck wie auch die ganze Verarbeitung.
