Pretty much depends on the clothes you store anf the amount of compression you ap ply. I really sucked all the air out of a bunch of terrycloth robes and they were fine. Same witb denim jackets. Any ironed or starched items will wrinkle, same with wool suits.

Q: Is anyone else having issues deflating with vacuuming? As soon as I put the vacuum to the valve it clogs. I can’t deflate the bag.

Yes, I've had the same issue. What worked for me was putting a piece of clothing or large cloth on the inside of the bag where the valve is located. So upon vacuuming there are no obstructions and it cannot suck on the plastic only deflate the air out of the bag. Either way some of these bags did not work for me by not retaining the vacuum suction, within a few hours everything releases.

Q: Will these bags work for fur coat storage?

yes, I used these bags for all the winter coats and I think I was able to fit 4 down jackets in each bag.

Q: How much weight can these bags hold? We have bought different brands in the past and the plastic piece for the hooks always seems to break.

I can't answer you in pounds or kilos, but we have two of these with jackets and coats and they are doing well.
