One of the batteries crapped out (but otherwise works for gf2)
SO I lost my factory-issued charger for my GF2 a few months ago. Stupid. I came on here to find a replacement and found that most came with some extra goodies and that there was a pretty wide disparity in the reviews for the different products. I figured that there might be some risk of a third-party charger wrecking my factory-issued battery, so I might as well get one that came with batteries and then have some extra batteries lying around. Some of the products out there had some horror story reviews, including batteries getting stuck in cameras, etc. This one was a little more expensive, but it seemed like it was worth protecting my camera. The Good: it works. charges the batteries that it came with and my factory-issued battery nicely. no issues of the battery getting stuck or anything. supposedly the batteries that come with it last longer than the factory-issued. I haven't done a test, nor will I, but they seem to last pretty long. It also came w/ a travel adapter and a euro adapter. Haven't had a cause to use them yet, but if I'm not a total shut-in, I will eventually. The bad: one of the batteries crapped out after one use. It won't take a charge. I'm not really crying about it, since I have the other two and my motive in ordering was just to get a replacement charger, but it's still disappointing given how generally well-reviewed it was. Also, the batteries don't display how much life they have left. But this is a known problem, fully disclosed in the product description, and it's really not that big of a deal. So, if you're buying this package for the charger, go for it. But if you're desperate for two new, working batteries, well, hopefully they don't crap out on you.UPDATE: I had originally posted that one of these batteries stopped taking a charge after one use. That was true. I tried about a dozen times and the charger wouldn't recognize that it was plugged in. This weekend, I randomly plugged it in again and, sure enough, it took a charge. I can't figure it out, but it's nice to have three working batteries again.UPDATE 2: After working fine for a little while, the second battery is not working again. Oddly, the charger now recognizes it and will charge it, but the camera will not. "She falls down a well, her eyes go cross. She gets kicked by a mule. They go back. I don't know."

Verified to work in a Panasonic G3... (At least for me)
Whew! My Panasonic Lumix G3 accepted these batteries! These batteries last longer than the Panasonic battery that came with my camera, but the camera isn't capable of accurately displaying "used up" they are because of the extra capacity. The camera won't show an accurate summary of the declining power level. Expect the batteries to run for a long time (looking like they have a full charge) and have the camera warn you to replace them unexpectedly. This isn't any failure on the part of the batteries, as Panasonic puts some type of proprietary Micro Chip in the "Official Batteries". Obviously, third party batteries aren't likely to have these. On a similar note: Panasonic is a little paranoid about people using non OEM (original Equipment Manufacturer) batteries. I've heard that there is some kind of an encryption that has caused other models of cameras to reject some third-party batteries. Plus, the camera manual warns you up-and-down not to use any "NON-Panasonic manufactured batteries".No worries here. The batteries fit. They are the right size. They charge well. Last a long time. 225+ picture with Image Stabalizationon, Occational Flash, LCD Screen on, and writing in the Largest Format in both JPG and RAW.I also prefer the charger to the OEM one by Panasonic. The indicator lights on Panasonic seem backwards (Off while charging, and Red when charged?) This one uses Red for Charging and Green for charged. It also works well in my car (which is why I got it).

Surprised that this was even better than I expected based on reviews
This is not a 5-star product only because it doesn't have the chip that allows the camera display to monitor the remaining charge. Other than that, this battery works great, lasts longer than the original and charges faster than the original. As other people have mentioned the indicator light on the charger makes a lot more sense than the Panasonic original: red while charging, green when ready (as opposed to green while charging, then OFF when done on the panasonic original).I have two original batteries, but wanted extras just in case. I was worried that these generics might be bad for my G3 and GX1, but they work, they work great, and with the exception of battery display, work better than the originals. Well worth the $30, especially because of the euro plug and the ability to use the car charger.EDIT: Well, I had to edit my statement and make this a 5-star review. For some reason, after I charged them a second time, it seems that they are now working completely with the battery status indicator. I'm not sure what happened, and I had to double-check that I did not accidentally think I put in the Panasonic battery, but it is definitely working. Now, it's an even better deal!

As Expected, more or less...
For the price, you don't expect quality control to be particularly rigorous, and this is indeed the case. One battery has a pretty reasonable life in terms of number of pictures -- not as high as the original battery, but respectable as a backup (~150-200 pictures). It fits into the camera and the charger, but the fit is tighter than it should be, so removing the battery is more difficult. To the point: Good thing I didn't cut my finger nails that morning because I wasn't going to get a grip on the battery with my fingers. The second battery fits as well as the Panasonic batteries, which was important because I had to remove it almost immediately after putting it in -- pathetic battery life of ~5 pictures. It doesn't register battery life on my camera (a Panasonic GF2) but that was expected, a known problem. For the price, getting one worthy battery was acceptable to me. I'd recommend it more strongly because of this value... except my experience suggests it would be hard to assure one working battery.
