The bag is good but the buckle has screw heads that protrude and scratch the leather. The strap , although leather, is very thin and feels like it will break at any point. There is clearly no quality control here.

Not 2 big not 2 small perfect

This is genuinely a beautiful practical piece of hand crafted luggage. Was looking for something bigger than traditional manbags but definitely not a case. This met that halfway house admirably as well as looking far more expensive than it is. Was concerned by some reviews especially about the smell. Yes when you unpack it there is a sort of chemical smell but left it on washing line for a couple of hours & that disappeared. I then conditioned it with some leather conditioner that I use on my car seats & that lifted it to another level. I've got far more expensive leather luggage that doesn't look half as good & expect this to only get better with age. Totally blown away with it for the cost!

Not the best of materials or particularly well made, the straps in particular are quite thin. As other reviews have mentioned there is quite a strong smell but a quick once over with some leather cleaner should minimise that. Not bad at the price point, time will tell how robust it is, it's fine for what I need.

This is a beautifully made bag craftsmanship ship a credit to the person. Arrived early than expected...Yes there is a smell when you open the box. Bag wrapped extremely well and all buckles covered in packaging. There are instructions with the bag. If you follow them the smell will be gone in a couple of days.I left mine in the bedroom where there was a bit if sun. Used a conditioner only because I had some. Two days as I say no smell. This is a lovely bag. The colour is beautiful and as the information card say it may have blemishes or scars. The price is amazing for such a lovely bag. I can highly recommend this bag. You won't be disappointed and if you are just inform them. As I'm sure it's not intentional or bad workmanship. I feel I may need to see what other bags they have. I've had lovely comments about it and they can't believe the price. Size is true to measurement and has lots of pockets.

This was to replace a 40-year old bag that had served well but could no longer be repaired. The size is perfect, well made and had just one buckle to close ( two buckles are a pain). I would recommend and I think this bag will see me out.Only two reservations - neither too much of a problem.The initial smell (more camel than goat in my opinion) was powerful but it did wear off.The shoulder strap is not removable (hence 4 stars). This was easily fixed by cutting off the strap and re-fixing with a pair of antique brass lobster clasps and four Chicago screws (all purchased from a well-known on-line market place).

Good value for the money. Don’t expect top quality as it’s not, but it does the job perfectly. Great to carry my large iPad around in. Some reviews mention a smell - there was for a while, but I guess that’s just to do with the curing or manufacture. Really not an issue. I would buy again.

I read all the bad reviews and was a bit sceptical but took a chance due to the price, Well ignore the bad reviews it's a brilliant bag for the money and looks exactly like the advert, yes it does smell initially of leather but so did my new car, it wears off after a couple of days.
