Smooth, reliable function for 18 months.
I purchased this treadmill 18 months ago and am extremely pleased. Because of severe trauma to ankles & feet (hit by impaired driver) I use the treadmill exclusively in manual mode at a steep incline. I like to do workouts of 60-90 minutes at 15% incline at 4.0-5.5 mph, for fitness and high calorie burn. I keep track of data the old fashioned way -- jotting it down manually after each session. No need for frills. Great piece of equipment! Strongly recommend for small or medium height users.

Not reliable
Such a great product when working. The problem is it’s always in error mode. So frustrating and the service process takes so long only for something else to go wrong shortly after. Find another brand

Delivery terrible, treadmill is great
The earliest delivery available was 24 days after purchase and I received a 12 hr delivery window. Amazon told me the delivery Co. would text me 30 minutes prior to delivery. Day of delivery the delivery Co. requested my phone number via email because they did not have it. Amazon gave them my email but not my phone #? Delivery Co. waited until day of delivery to notice they didn't have my phone #? So I had to reschedule for the following week. Finally received treadmill on the 30th, 29 days after purchase. The delivery was 1hr and 45 minutes late.Treadmill is as expected. My only complaint comes from putting the unit together. Make sure you dry fit each screw to clean/bore the threads before trying to screw things together. The machining of the taps are less than optimal to put it kindly. Also, you will want to run on a 1.5 incline to mimic actual running conditions. My old $800 Proform from 2003 was already set at that minimum incline and couldn't be adjusted any lower. This expensive unit however, requires you to adjust the running platform dead level when you initially set it up. If you run level on a treadmill you are actually running downhill as it translates to real ground pound running. Ask me how I know.

Works fine
Works fine but unimpressed. Was expecting to be wowed by the Precor brand but miss my 13 y.o. Reebok treadmill. I could run on my reebok and it wouldnt move this Precor sorta bounces along as i run. I adjusted the feet and made sure it was level but still bouncy. I do like the simplicity of the screen with 5 or 6 program options. Haven't been able to change the "guest" runner hoping it will allow me to customize a program.

Not for a serious runner
My wife bought this treadmill. While this treadmill is quiet and seems sturdy, Precor has crippled the display features on this model. It doesn't have basic features that treadmills half the price have. The display has options that you can't get to, so one gets the feeling that the same unit is used on other models with different software. The running bed is several inches shorter and narrower than average. This combined with the lack of side arms gives me a feeling that I will fall off at any moment. The supplied safety key that attaches to your clothing comes off so easily that it is almost unusable. When it comes off, it shuts off the power and you lose all data on your workout.

I've had this treadmill now since Nov 2014 and absolutely love it! What a major change from the crappie worn out ones at the gym. I run from 16-20 miles every week on it. I can consistently run for at least 50 min with no impact to my knees or feet. I found that the worn out treadmills at the gym actually impacted my body and performance. You definitely get a lot for your money here. It will pay for itself so long as you use it and don't let it collect dust :). Its quiet too so I can run in the morning while my husband is asleep no problem

Not good.
Very few miles on this treadmill and it just suddenly quits while i'm running. Contacted Precor to get it fixed under the warranty....that was two weeks ago and its still not fixed. And, the places they recommended to contact to get it repaired are all 3 hours away from me, and I am the one that has to contact them to try to get it fixed. Not a good experience.

Very happy with my Precor treadmill
This works well in my small workout area. It is just right for what I need and gets the job done. I do not need all the bells and whistles and wanted just a dependable, maintenance free, sturdy treadmill.
