AC Brotherhood
I really enjoyed this installment of the Assassin's Creed series. I was fishing through some old games recently, when I realized I had never finished AC2. As I was coming to the end of that game, I only then understood that Brotherhood and Revelations were direct sequels. Once I finished the story I had to get Brotherhood. The game does a great job picking up where the last game left off. The gameplay mechanics are very similar, and the graphics have the same feel, which is not a bad thing. Rome looks great through the eyes of Ezio Auditore. In the previous game your entire base of operations was housed at Villa Monteriggioni which had to be upgraded and renovated. In Brotherhood you must rebuild Rome. In order to do so, you have to weaken the Borgia Influence by taking out key strategic positions. These actions would allow shops in the area to be renovated, allowing you to have more options to shop. There are some new gadgets, weapons, and abilities, but other than that, it feels a lot like AC2. There are pistols and crossbows now, giving Ezio more options to take out opponents at range. Horses can finally be taken through the city, which is extremely necessary. And there are more quick-travel options than in AC2. One of the most helpful additions is the execution kill streak. Now, after executing an enemy (usually after a counter attack), you can immediately take out another enemy by continuing the kill streak. I admit, it is a little overpowered, but you aren’t invulnerable during this period, and there are certain enemies who are invulnerable to the one-hit-KO.The last major addition is what the title itself hints at. Through his travels, Ezio has become quite the Master Assassin, and must begin training new recruits. You can choose to assist certain citizens throughout the city and recruit them to your cause, training them to become part of the Assassin’s Guild. When you have trainees, you can call on them to take out targets or assist you in battle. All it takes is a full Assassin’s bar, and a nifty little eagle whistle. If you are the kind of player that likes to get collectibles, there are a lot in this game. The Assassin’s tombs have been replaced by Romulus Lairs (but are of the same concept), the feathers are replaced with Borgia Flags, and there are some other collectibles as well.Overall, I think UBI Soft did an awesome job on Brotherhood. They identified a lot of the gaps and weaknesses in AC2 and worked on fixing them. They also managed to capitalize on the strengths of the previous games as well. They do a good job of not making the game too repetitive (a la Assassin’s Creed the First). Oh, and most importantly… IT’S FUN!Comment| One person found this helpful. It builds upon the formula of Assassin's Creed II and is more polished. There are a few more fighting animations for Ezio and new colors for his outfit. What makes this game so good is the fact that you can take command of your own squad of Assassins that will help you upon your command during missions, and out in the world. Leveling them up is a cinch as well, as you can send them on missions all over Europe to gain experience. I would advise only sending them on missions with a 100 percent success rating. Keeping them around in Rome is the best way to monitor their progress, and you can choose their colors.Rome is beautiful and very true to its Renaissance inspiration. It's the only city in the game and it's huge. Players will have fun leaping across the rooftops. The enemies in the game are very challenging and are a joy to fight. The story is everything you'd expect from the Assassins Creed franchise and is good. The multiplayer is fun and suspenseful, as you must maneuver through the crowds searching for and running from other players. All in all this game gets an 8.5/10 from me, and I recommend it especially before playing Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

Best game in the series.
The second part of Ezio's story sees the boy grown into a man. Based in Rome, it provides fantastic visuals of the iconic city, and the game play is excellent. There is now tons of side content to accompany the main quest. In just two hours of playing, the map is filled with icons for stuff to do. Collecting feathers, flags, etc, taking over areas of the city controlled by the Borgia, investigating dungeons for treasure and faction missions. For a game considered a 'sub-game' in the series, it is easily one of the best.

Review of AC Brotherhood
A good game, nothing more or less. It packs the same amount enjoyment that it's older brother revelations gives, but without the same polished finish. Nevertheless you don't really care. This particular edition in the series is the most successful at building upon the ideology of that you're not on your own, and some serious salad is about to be tossed. The game has really expanded Ezio from a one man army, to a small empire and you start to feel that he's really going to get somewhere.witty bits of history are incorporated into the storyline that offer some nostalgia and give it some charm.

Assassins Creed Brotherhood
a great game, continues well from Assassins Creed 2, I have yet to play Revelations so I can't say how well the story continues, but Brotherhood is a really good game on its own, the multiplayer is amazing, the graphics and combat have been updated and are greatly improved, and although there are some major similarities between plotlines and side missions, the overall game is fresh and new, a great game well worth buying

Rome - great place to kill people in!!!
Probably my favourite release from the AC story (followed closely by Revelations). The gameplay is as diverse as AC II, but the setting (Rome - the new, the old and the even older) is just wonderful - play the game and every time you see a picture of the Colosseum you'll think "I've jumped off the top of that!!!". There are some relatively easy missions, some tricky ones and some damn right frustrating ones (get the guide) - but having assassin recruits that you can send on missions and get help from is excellent - especially when they rank up to full assassin. All in all a must get game - even if you're not completely into the AC saga.

Had to buy a new disc to get full gameplay
The packaging the disc came in was damaged and the wrong way around, which tbh, didnt really mind cause it's about the game and not the packaging. But then the disc stopped working when I was about 70% through the game. I would load everything but when I got to the actual game it would say 'disc unrecognised' , 'clean disc or restart xbox'. I did that and it didnt work. I mean I played about £5 for a used game but it was described as in a 'very good' condition. Worth just spending a bit more to ensure you get full gameplay.
