Daylight Slimline LED Magnifying Lamp [Energy Class A++]

Nice bright light with a useable magnifier. I bought this as I use it for up close painting and other work on various miniatures. I had a different light previously (this one  22W Fluorescent Daylight Flexible 5" Magnifying Lamp Multi Position G-Clamp New ) that only cost about £30 - that's about £100 cheaper but which had a fluorescent tube light that produced a lot (relatively) of heat which dried up the paint I was using very quickly. The heat from the old magnifier was a problem. This Daylight lamp is better in that it has LED's for light which don't give off any noticeable heat and are much brighter as well. However, the lens on the old Maplins light suited me better. So, whilst this is a good product whether it is right for you or not depends mainly on whether you are bothered by the extra heat generated by the other model, probably not a noticeable amount for most things, you require the additional light produced by this one or are bothered by the cost differential.

Live this lamp . Versatile, good light great magnifying. Worth the buy. I use this in my sewing room.

I am a very enthusiastic bead-weaver and this light is one hundred per cent suitable for my craft. It is easy to manage and is very comfortable to use. I highly recommend this light.

this lamp is really bright and makes reading or working with small things easy. Can also be used as an anglepoise lamp.

Not the cheapest but an excellent light with swappable glass lenses.Much better optics than my previous plastic lens version and very bright.

Excellent lamp, lots of bright well diffused light. At last I won't have to keep buying replacement ring fluorescents for my old lamp. And I'm using less power.
