Electronic Music and Sound Design - Theory and Practice with Max 7

This book is great. I haven't got the first volume in the series, but decided to start here because i'm mostly interested in the audio and sampling side of Max (as opposed to the synthesis stuff) - I'd been through most of the well-known tutorials on youtube when I got the book, and a good number of the built-in ones, so plenty of the material is already partly familiar. But working through the exercises feels like I'm filling in a lot of gaps in my knowledge, and in each set of activities there's at least one which is nice and challenging. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn Max thoroughly.
