This will give some colour to the hair when left on for 5-20 mins.

Love this shampoo, leaves my hair a little dry but apart from that all good. Smells amazing, give my auburn hair a lovely red tint especially in the sun, maybe slightly artificially but all the same looks great. Works much better with my hair colour than the copper version of the same shampoo did, I leave it in for three minutes ever other day. Very good for the price and so much easier than getting it done properly.

I havnt used henna products for yrs but as getting older hair colour changing more to orange than chestnut.Have used this for a week or so and have a nice colour instead of brassy. Lovely shine and a lovely clean feeling.It does cleanse very well so would suggest a good conditioner to use along side, as hair does feel stripped of oils, dirt etc.Will definitely buy again and highly recommend.

I used to buy these shampoos decades ago, before my hair had started losing its colour, to give it a nicer shading (this in the days before literally everyone started chemically colouring their hair). I had since started using a semi-permanent hair dye to combat greying, but have never really been happy using all that chemical stuff on my hair. I am hoping to be able to use this one instead of a regular dye. If applied regularly and left on the hair for a period after each wash, a colorant becomes almost redundant. It does a pretty fair job covering greys as well. Gives my naturally dark brown hair a strong auburn hue, which is a change from the increasingly strong grey flecks. Being just a shampoo, it's easy to apply as well, no messing about with gloves and stuff like that. Definitely recommend.

I read all reviews and thought this would work. I don't want to dye my hair regularly and thought this would be my answer.Sadly my grey hair won't get any colour from this shampoo.Tried about month now so I'm very very disappointed.

Very easy to use and does what it says on the tin. My only issue is that, as well as the dye, the coulour comes out brighter than I thought it would, but still looks lovely! I would recommend using brown with this if you would actually like auburn hair as mine is dark ashy blonde and it still comes out quite orangey.

I have used this prep for about a year and think it's terrific. I have been very scalp allergic to many branded shampoos in the past. Not this one, and the colour maintainable properties are great! I does feel a little different when you first use it, and I can understand some people feeling it's a little drying for their hair type. I could suggest using the Henne balsam conditioner a few times a week if you think it's needed. I use the shampoo every day...love it...love the smell, love my shiny hair, and think the price is OK compared to some of the equivalent henna shampoos. It's also VERY good used in combination with their Henne hair colourant cream...which I would also recommend!Mrs. A. C. Reynolds

arrived promptly and has certainly, and without doubt, coloured my hair a brown-orange - so much so that now I have ordered the brown and shall mix the two together because this product on its own looks a bit too much like I have done a very bad colouring job for my OWN hair colour - it does not suit my skin tone - used to use Klorane Henna hair shampoo (discontinued due to EU health regs) which imparted the most luscious "red-setter" tone ..... oh Klorane why oh why can you not bring your product back - has anyone out there found a good replacement ?
