Easy to usw
Very easy to use. You could do it yourself if need be. The earring is sharp so once you piece the sharp end does not come off. It’s very easy to poke or scratch yourself with it while you wait for it to heal enough to change. She had several nosebleeds due to this.

Got the job done!
So because of Covid, I couldn't go to a shop to get it done, but luckily I do have experience with piercing with a gun because of my job; so I ordered this.Came faster than the inital date, the gun is a little different than the one I usually would use for ears, but it makes sense because the nose area is smaller and closed. But it got the job done! Because I have thicker cartilage on my nose, I did get stuck halfway doing it myself, but it's completely because of the thickness of my cartilage. So I had my sister pierce the rest of it in.For those whom are going to get this/thinking about it: When using; same procedure I always go by when I pierce others ears, make sure to wipe down the area with an alcohol wipe (it also had one that came with it, so all the better), wait for it to dry before dotting your desired location with, what I highly recommend, a surgical pen. And when piercing, make sure you shoot quickly at a straight (not slanted) angle. And for the reviews saying, "It didn't pierced through and it fell apart!"; those are known as being "Misfires" when it come towards piercing. If piercing, especially with a gun, isn't done right/fast, it will fall apart because the gun is always a one-time use and is getting the signal "Hey, I think we're done because the shooting stopped. Time for me to dissemble." It's actually a common thing when a mistake is made. Another big factor, again, is if your cartilage is thick. If this is so, you/the person really need to press down hard and fast to get it to go through. If it is halfway in, if you take it out, it dissembles. So you have the option to finish it up, or to take it out and let it fall dissemble. This is to clear any confusion with the negative comments (because I read through them and quickly identified the problem because it's rare to have a gun that's a defect. It's usually the way someone shoots. For aftercare, if there is pain (discomfort is normal); avoid using alcohol. Alcohol dries the wound and closes it. Use salt water to ease irritation, and if anything, hydrogen peroxide. For me I use "advance care" solution I get at work (At a Pagoda if you have one in your local mall). The advance care heals your piercing really quick, easier to use because you spray it, and it also works as a polisher, so you're kind if keeping with both your wound and jewlery at the same time.I hope this eliminates some of your fear or doubts; trust me. I was a little hesitant of getting this, but hey, it worked.

Quick, easy and very little pain! Be ware the super pokey stud tip once it's in your nose!
So, from what I read on the description, it sounds like the sharp part of the stud that pierces your nose is supposed to come off in the contraption, leaving a rounded end on the stud. This didn't happen with mine. The stud is so long that the sharp part was jabbing me in the septum. Not ideal. I tried to remove the sharp part with my finger nail but that didn't work, so I resorted to pulling the freshly inserted stud out of my bleeding nasal wall and tried to remove the sharp part with a pair of pliers. After trying for a bit, I became convinced that the sharp part was there to stay. Unfortunately, I didn't have a back-up stud due in until the next day, so I reinserted the stud (OUCH!) into my freshly pierced nose. I borrowed a friends spare stud and by the time I pulled this thing out just hours later, the hole had already started to kind of crust around it, so it had to re-rip it's way back out. OW! I used her stud until mine came in the next day, and now, a week later, all is well. I'm surprised I didn't end up with an infection! The stud that comes with the gun is tiny and adorable, but I threw it away because of the wide, stabby end. Still not sure if that part is supposed to come off or not, as I'm the only review I see where this is an issue. Who knows. Even after all the hullabaloo, it beats paying upwards of $100 and having to go to a piercing place during covid season!

Straight forward yet somehow difficult which meant more pain
The product leaves a nice piercing at the end of the process and it's nice that it comes with an alcohol wipe to sterilize the region first. Really all you need is in the package. That said, the product was difficult to use despite its straight forward nature. Initially, a friend was going to do the piercing and when she pressed into my nose it definitely hurt as though something happened but the piercing didn't penetrate, so I tried it again and I pressed much harder than she did. Despite penetrating, the device did not want to disengage from my nose and so I pressed even harder and finally it disengaged but the piercing did not completely penetrate through into my nasal passage so I still had to push the stud further in manually for it to penetrate into my nose. Ouch. Additionally, the plastic compartment that was attached to the stud stayed attached to the stud even after the full product disengaged. It took quite a bit pulling, pushing, and wiggling to get it to finally fall off which was even more painful. It seems that my experience was extremely different from many of the other reviews in this thread so I don't know if we did something wrong or if my product was semi-defective. Only use this if you have an absolutely serious reason for not going to a professional; it will save you a lot of pain in the end.TLDR: The product had trouble piercing, disengaging, and fully collapsing which meant quite a bit of pain for me. I only recommend this if you are extremely adverse to going to a professional shop to get a piercing done; otherwise just go get it done by somebody who knows what they're doing. It'll be less painful.

Really good.
This nose kit is BOMB! I had my nose pierced before and took it out. I wanted to get it repierced but couldn’t due to the pandemic so I did it myself with this kit. Very simple and easy. The only reason why I gave it four stars and not five it doesn’t come with instructions. I’ve done it to myself before so that’s how I knew. Either then that it’s really worth the money. Watch YouTube videos if your not sure.

Unsafe, bad decision
Trash. If you’re thinking of purchasing DO NOT! I tried to pierce my nose but the gun fell apart and the nose ring only went about halfway through my nose. I had to push the nose ring in with my hands, and the next morning the nose ring was halfway out of my nose so I ended up taking it out to avoid trauma. UNSAFE. AVOID.

SO EASY!!
This kit was SO easy to use. I decided first where I wanted to put my ring. I've alwaaays wanted a nose ring. Anyways. I used a lil ball off an eyebrow ring and stuck it on my nostril in different places until I decided where I felt it looked best. I marked the spot, washed up and took a few deep breaths. I then lined up the piercing tool and slowly closed it to my nostril to make sure it was exactly where I wanted it. There was maybe a slight pinch? Nothing terrible at all. Alot of pressure...I slowly pushed it a bit at a time sitting on the floor "I was nervous and shaking a bit". Anyways...I pushed it in lil bits at a time not sure if it was working...and heard a CLICK. I was a bit surprised so I stood up. I was shocked when all the lil pieces popped apart, and looked in the mirror expecting it to have broken. NOPE!! IT WAS PIERCED. I did it 🙂. It barely even hurt at all, I'm so surprised!!! I love it. I wish I'd known about these kits forever ago!!!You pretty much just mark...line up, squeeze shut...done. Eassssssy. ❤️Update, we did our daughters nose tonight, with an additional kit we'd bought. She'd been asking for quite a while. It went well, excited and happy girl.

Worked very well
It worked well! I had to get my husband to do it because I only got it half way through. I’m sure a tougher person could do it easily by themselves. When he did it, it didn’t hurt at all. The stud itself is a bit long for my nostril, but it’s really cute.

Not too shabby
Make sure you press hard. Definitely not for someone who gets light headed easily. However my nose is pierced now, I did re load the nose piercing back into the little gun due to it only going half in the first go, you need two hands to get it all the way through. Stung, but didn’t hurt. I’d suggest if you have someone willing to do it so it’s easier to use two hands.
