Military Grade Quality & Phenomenal Looks
I've worn basically two types of coats my entire life. An Army Field jacket, or a sport coat. This Military style jacket by Levi's is absolutely awesome. Not only does it look great, it's made like a tough Army field jacket. It just looks better. A lot better. There are two button down flap pockets, and one zippered pocket on the chest, and two hand pockets on the lower outside of the jacket. Also there is an interior pocket large enough for a Smart Phone, or wallet. The chest pockets are deep enough for those items too. There is a zipper that goes around the collar, that is typical for Military style field jackets. Which when unzipped reveal a pull out hood. On this jacket the zipper is purely for looks. And it sure does the trick the way the collar stands up. I'm 6' tall, have a 43" chest, weight around 185-190, and the large fits me nicely. There is a lining in the jacket for colder days that does not come out. But truthfully you could wear this jacket pretty much anytime. Maybe not in the middle of summer though. The price of this comparing it to a regular Army field jacket can't be beat. Every review I read before purchasing this jacket remarked how good it looked. Well here's another person saying the same thing. This jacket is smoking. I'm a retired Army Infantry soldier and I'll take this over my military issue any day of the week. The sizing (L) for me was true to size. I ordered the Brown, which to me blends better with most other colors. In one of the pictures I put an Army Issued Field Shirt next to this jacket for comparison. If you want a rugged jacket that should last for years, whether you are in the boonies or just wearing it day to day because it looks good. Then I would definitely recommend you give this a try. I love it.

I'm very happy with this.
Initial Impressions: Nice jacket. There are minor imperfections in the stitching but I don't expect perfection when I'm paying under $150 for a jacket. It looks like it should hold up well.Fit: I'm 5'8" and 180 lbs with a 40" chest. A medium fits well. There's enough room for a light layer or sweatshirt without it being uncomfortable when zipped. The length is good. It falls between my wrists and knuckles and about 4" below my belt.Warmth: This is just what I was looking for. The insulation is on the lighter side. This jacket will be great for spring and fall or even when it's cold if I'm just running in somewhere. I am comfortable with a T-shirt underneath at 55F sitting still but warm when moving. With a sweatshirt I can be comfortable walking down to 32F. It's a perfect way to fill the gap between my softshell and puffy jackets.

It's a very decent jacket
I bought this for mountain biking and working outside. It works ok for that. The shoulders and are a little snug, which is fine. The lower part is like most jackets they make for men - I could comfortable smuggle a basketball under the front of it if I wanted. But that's how they make them all, it seems. I could go up a size and improve the shoulder fit, but then I could probably smuggle two basketballs.Overall it's not bad. The look and workmanship is good. The material is stiff enough not to flap, and thick enough to keep the wind out without being a hothouse inside. It's a good winter/spring coat. It'd be nice if it were better fitted, but that doesn't seem to be an option anywhere outside of slim-fit young adult stuff. On edit, I just wanted to add that I'm happier with it than I started. For bike rides the cut and fit is just fine. If I wanted to tailor it a bit there are side panels that would make that easy. And I'm impressed overall with the sturdiness and breathability of the fabric, which should make it very good for outdoors stuff. A t-shirt and long-sleeved thermal underneath, and it's nice and comfortable down to about 30 degrees. Probably ditch the thermal and it's an overall nice jacket for spring.

Fantastic jacket, great fit and look
Great spring, fall jacket, the size is true to the size, the jacket is modern look and feel but it is not for winter. However, one can layer it with a sweat shirt on a non windy situation.

All you need to know...
Ok, let's start with me... I'm 6', 280lbs, 56in chest, 42in waist, 17in arms. I bought a 3xl instead of my normal 4xl because most reviews stated this jacket ran a bit big. The 3xl fits fairly good. Good enough that I will keep it. The chest/arms are a bit tight but I'm pretty big. Length is good, hits below the waist (basically the top of my butt). Keep in mind, this a a medium weight jacket. It is a bit warmer than a regular Levis denim jacket. Let's say the denim jacket has a warmth level of 1, this would be a 3 or 4. I live in Austin, TX where the winters are not too bad and I can fit a thick flannel under it with no real issues. 6 total pockets, 5 outside, 1 in. All good size and accessible. The stand up collar may take some getting used to. If you don't like collars rubbing the back of your neck or sides of your chin this may not work. You can fold it down but it looks kind of dorky. This is not waterproof and I knew that going in so I will probably 3M it. Overall I am satisfied and would recommend.

Light and comfy, nice look somewhere between a military and western style jacket
The 2XL Tall fits me very well. I'm 6'4", 216 lbs, wide shoulders with a 37 in sleeve. Nice to find a man's coat that offers the Tall size option. It was wrinkled from shipping, but threw it in the dryer and now it's ready to wear.
