This light works but some small problems
I purchased these lights for additional lights in our church hall.It works well but when units are not being used (DMX turned off, no signal to the lights other than constant power), the cooling fan still running and makes a very low humming sound.Does anyone know how to set these lights to have the fan go to sleep without running when the lights are not in use mode?

Small but powerful stage light.
Even though the dimensions are clearly stated in the listing, my first impression was man, this thing is pretty small. I guess I am just used to working with older, clunkier equipment and these days, they are packing a lot more in much smaller packages. While small, the build quality is excellent and it does cast a good deal of light. I like that it has DMX control. I tried it with an ADJ myDMX Buddy and was able to acquire it and control it in DMX. I tried a few very simple scenes and it seemed to work fine. There is an excellent selection of color temperatures to pick from and fading up and down is nice and smooth. The construction is excellent and a lot more rugged and durable than a lot of the other lighting I’ve seen in this class and price range. The barn doors do a great job setting up your specific lighting scenario. I use this in a small sized home studio and I think it would work best for that environment, or maybe even a mid-size room. I don’t know if I would use this in a resort conference room or on a high school stage. It has a lot of light but I don’t know if it would be powerful enough to cover that distance. I see this in a small, dimly lit coffee shop where you want to spotlight a single acoustic musician on a small stage. It got a bit warm with use but nothing I worried about. Heat dissipation seems properly addressed. If you’re looking for a flexible lighting fixture with good brightness, low power consumption and DMX control for around $80, this is a good value.

Programing is difficult
I am finding it really difficult to program these lights with a DMX board. All I need it a stage wash and the lights to fade in and out and I can not seem to get it to work.

Excellent Light For Stage And Recording
I ordered this light because I needed better lighting for my videos and photography as well as the occasional musical gig.The light is built well so it should last a long time if treated properly. The light has many modes available enabling you to adjust it to get the color and illumination that you desire. The light has 4 control modes, DMX, sound-activated, automatic, and master-slave which enables you to set the light to fit your needs. The light also has barn doors so that you can adjust the light and block out light from unwanted areas. The light has dual mounting brackets so that you can hang it on a wall, put it on the stand, or just put it on the ground. The light has a cooling fan like most which will produce a little noise, I did not find it unusually loud so I set the light far enough away from the subject in the video so that the noise would not be picked up on the audio.I found this light to provide all the light I needed to film my videos and I was very impressed with the options available for the price. If you are looking for a spotlight you may want to check this one out.

Quality Compact Par light that is a little noisy
All metal construction and great DMX control make for some great lights! You can create nice fading effects with the four separately controlled LED's (2 Cool | 2 Warm) via DMX. This light is also BRIGHT with it being rated at 120 watts. The metal barn doors is a welcome addition for these; really makes this Par by being able to use them to shape the light. One thing to keep in mind is that there is a fan that runs constantly while this PAR is on. It will wind up and down as you work the light intensity (to keep the light cool) so you'll want to keep this in mind. If you are using this in a small studio it may be troublesome as your mics will pic up the fan noise. In a large auditorium you should be fine, which; is where they are probably best suited.Besides the noise I'd give these a solid 4.5 | 5 if I could!

Great light!
I am a pro musician, and many times I'm looking for a light that's easy to set up in front. This light definitely does that. It's not a toy - it's got some heft, and feels like it's quality-made. There are 4 LED lamps, and all or 1 of them can be illuminated, depending on how much light you want, and whether or not you want warm or cool white. Great for a small stage spotlight. There are no other colors, and that's fine. Warm or cool white, and that's it.There are a couple of different ways to mount this, making it handy to carry to my next gig. Hang it, loop it, mount it, whatever works.I can easily imagine that this would work well for a function, a display, or any situation you wanted to spotlight a person or a setting. There are a couple of ways to hook it up, and it can easily be set to work without a DMX controller, if that's what you'd prefer. All in all, it's a great spotlight for the money - good value!Highly recommended!

Works Great! Would buy again
I tried this light and it worked great. It was exactly what I was looking for for an event. It was bright, remote worked fine and did not take up a lot of space.I wish it can with a stand but we found the right place to secure it for our event.
