This item is solid rubber. You can freeze it if you wish. As it a rigid item you can use it on any floor surface, but I would recommend a hard floor to get the maximum massage effect.

Hello NarryI can't see why it wouldn't work on a laminated floor. I use mine on carpet. You will probably find it slips a bit as it does on the carpet sometimes, but this is easily corrected, with the other foot at the end of the PediRoller and can put the other foot on the top to stop it if you wish. It isn't noisy at all, though I don't know about laminate, but my thoughts are that it isn't noisy. Personally, if it were me in the same situation, I would be inclined to buy it, particularly as I believe to have dropped slightly in price and is now £4.50, but mainly to see how it helps you. It never ceases to make me happy and that was wise buy for me and my foot seems to be so much better for it. If you go ahead and give the PediRoller a try, I should be interested to know if you are happy with it too. I hope I have managed to help you in some small way.
