I bought this hat on the premise that it was a Melton wool Baker's Boy/Newsboy cap made in the USA, where the style originated. The description showed a photograph of a flat unworn example. If it had been shown on a human head, then I would not have bought it as the size and style was so exaggerated and baggy on top that it looked comical, putting me in mind of "Huggy Bear" from the American 70s Police show "Starsky and Hutch". Also, the elastic one-size headband was far too small and uncomfortable. returned for a full refund.Traditional American-made baker's boy hats are usually so stylish but not in this case. I've now gone back to Capas of New York and placed an order.
