I received them yesterday and after fully charging one I took it down to the basement to see at what distance the light would come on...I believed the description stated five meters and that’s roughly how far away I was when it did, give or take. It lit up the area pretty well also. I thought I would need to use both of them in my parents’ room, but the light is so bright, only one was needed. I put it on the wall near the bedroom door, which is the perfect place for it to sense my mom who sleeps on the opposite side of the bed from the door. The angle at which the sensor detects movement is great and comes back on as soon as she steps back into room, coming from the bathroom. I thought 20s was too short for staying on but it’s perfect. My mom slept through the night, so it’s not been mom tested as yet, so the trial runs were done by me after it got dark enough. I will update this review once she does. If it works out, I won’t have to hear my dad constantly telling her to turn off the light. Lol. I will be ordering more to use in the basement common area for when we have guests, so the basement light doesn’t have to stay on all night to prevent them from bumping into things going and coming from the bathroom.Oct. 26: I think my dad loves this light more than my mom. My mom can find her way in and out of the room without bumping into things and doesn’t need to turn on the overhead light and wake him up. And the best part is it turning itself off after 20s. My mom hates the light and thinks it’s too bright and wish I would get rid of it...not going to happen. Lol...especially since she forgets about it as soon as it turns off.01/27/2018These lights are great, but one has stopped working. At first I thought it was my charger cord, but then I tried the itsy bitsy one that came with the lights and the red light that comes on while it was charging never came on. So I’m thinking one of the lights is defective to stop working after less than six months. The other one is still working though, but taking away the 5 star rating.02-17-18: These light work great as far as providing suffienct lighting in the dark and motion sensing...that’s what the two star rating is for. However, they do not last long. The second light now will not charge and has gone the same route as the first. What a waste of money.

Motion sensor does not work consistently. Sometimes does not work at all. They seem to work ok in the on position. The light is bright enough and looks ok.. I wil keep them and use them for another function. They're not worth returning. However, after reaching out to the merchant, they immediately shipped out two replacements for the defective ones.

I love these lights......I was a little concerned with their size when I opened their boxes, but looks are definitely deceiving where these lights are concerned.They put off an enormous amount of light and the motion sensor is perfect when you don't want to disturb someone sleeping.
