Definitely Increases the Height of the Chair
They work pretty good. My chair is not a flat bottom and so the back risers do not sit squarely on the ground. They also are not the most attractive in that you can definitely see them, but they do exactly as stated. For me, they work great!!

Best to order two sets of these initially and make sure that the first set be installed at the end of the recliner's runners.
The recliner risers were just what we needed to raise our recliner off of the floor, which makes it very comfortable for my 73.5" height and somewhat long legs. However, as others have pointed out, we needed to order a second set to keep the recliner for tipping over excessively in the front. It tilts somewhat toward the front now with the extra two risers in the front section of the legs right at the ends of the runners, but nowhere near as much as before and not enough to be disconcerting.I recommend that two sets of these be purchased initially and that the first set be installed at the end of the recliner's runners rather than be set back from the ends of the runners, which is how ours first went on.

Great help for my bad knee
These eased getting up from a chair as I have a tricky knee. I was concerned about the chair moving off the blocks since the adhesive strips provided did not hold well. I ended up using duck tape to insure the chair wouldn't slip off the blocks. Now I am up and off the chair with no problem.

Like the concept, but doesn't work with my chair.
These would have been great. Unlike other reviewers my chairs legs would have fit nicely in the slots from a width perspective. In the front of the chair they were actually a perfect fit. Where I had problem is at the back of the chair. Where the legs need support, in the back, there is a post that runs from one leg to the other, basically from one side of the chair to the other. It is placed close to the floor and that does not allow room for the depth of the slot. Will have to return these. Wish they would have worked as they look sturdy and easy to install.

They Work!
We needed then to raise up a chair. They work but didn’t really fit the particular shape of the chair legs but they still work. I’m not sure what you mean about “sheerness”. They’re dark brown material & are obvious that they’re there, but they work for the purpose we need right now.

Perfect fit!
These multi-use risers are perfect for my small recliner. The legs fit properly in the slot provided on the riser - plus they come with an optional adhesive strip you can apply to make sure they don't slide back and forth or off the end. The bonus to this style is that the risers can be turned over, and on that side are indentations that can handle several types of furniture or bed legs and roller feet. I love that the rise is 3-plus inches. Just right for my needs. I'd purchase these again for other furniture ... but if you have a rocker-recliner and the legs are standard width, these fit perfectly. Of all the cruising I did looking for something that would work for this specific recliner - these were like finding gold! Problem solved.

Worked like described
I got these to put on my mom's new recliner. It sat lower than she wanted it to, so I got these to make the chair higher. Works great!

3 star because the risers will not fit chair on its side rails, the notch was not wide enough.
I read the comments but could not see where anyone wrote down the exact measurement of the notch width of the risers, the seller left girth measurement of 33.33 which is beyond confusing. I measured the notch on the risers as 37mm or 1.465 inch. To get 1 1/2" to fit it would have had to force rails down into the notches and most likely fractured plastic and making riser dangerous to use. I did get risers to fit front and back rails of chair but this is dangerous as it makes the chair sit on a smaller/narrower base which could cause the chair to flip sideways if one did not sit carefully down and never sit on the arms of the chair.
