MagMod Starter Flash Kit

Easy to use

Nice kit but way way overpriced..

I love this kit, so simple to use and swap between different attachments. The powerful magnets hold each attachment in place so they don't keep falling off that you get with some cheaper products. The diffuser works great especially for portraits, I've yet to play around with the grid though.I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't as expensive as it is!

Absolutely superb flash diffuser, producing excellent results. Although expensive, this is the best diffuserthat I have used to date.

Really expensive product but very well designed and extremely easy and quick to use, I have been wanting a flash mod that would work for weddings especially in large spaces with high ceilings when bounce flash isn’t practical, but to be honest this doesn’t really do what i wanted, I guess expectations were a bit high, I assumed the mag mod would act like a big lightbulb and give me similar effects to bounce flash. I have to say i am very impressed by the magmod system design but disappointed with the results I can’t see much difference in results between the sphere and an unmodified speedlight, the overall lighting effect is ever so slightly softer than an unmodded speedlight when used on-camera and off but no where near impressive enough to justify spending this sort of money on! the honeycomb mod is good and gives the effect you’d expect but I rarely use it.If you expect this to do anything more than what you can already do with an un modified speedlight, don’t waste your money!

Does the job, pricey but diffuser is somewhat large and noticeable, not a big deal if you like a high profile when doing your photography

Bis dato mein bester Speedlite-Aufsteck-Lichtformer.Die Qualität des Lichtes (bzgl. Weichheit) gefällt mir deutlich besser als bei einem simplen Aufsteck-Diffusor oder Reflektor.Das original Gary-Fong Collapsible Speedlite Mount Lightning Kit habe ich nicht, der preiswerte Nachbau aus dem Reich der Mitte ist weniger gut.Die Montage ist einfach, der Wechsel der Lichtformer super unkompliziert.
