Worked great when a bystander took a baseball to the eye. Have a few to other parents as well. Great for sports and traveling or other emergencies. Always have them in my on the go first aid kit.

Decent solution
As parents with young kids, accidents happen all the time and often happened unexpectedly. We all know it’s nice to have ice pack available for most accidents, but it’s just not ideal to carry ice around. These packs are very convenient to carry in my bags, they’re small enough to take up much space as well which is a plus! We’ve used 2 times so far on minor injuries, one thing that’s definitely noticeable is how cold it gets. Normally, we would worry about the temperature gets too low and hurts my kids’ skin, so we often need to wrap the ice pack around the ice pack before having it touch their skin. However, with this one, we just didn’t feel it actually gets cold enough to worry about that all all. For very minor injury, I think that’s a plus to quickly apply that to the skin. This is a plus for the convenience, but one huge drawback is how fast it took to lose that low temperature. We didn’t apply it for very long, but within 5 mins, you can definitely feel the temperature went up quite a bit.Overall, I think this is a great product to have in very parent’s backpack, but if you’re looking for something that can get cold enough to compare to ice packs, this will probably disappoint you

Great price, great product!
These have come in handy for a variety of needs since I've ordered (my children and I are pretty clumsy). They are super easy to use, just pop, shake, and instant cold pack whether you need it to minimize swelling or to even use in a lunch box as a quick ice pack. They stay cold for quite a while as well compared to others I have tried in the past. Great deal for a great product.

Not effective
These are a great idea but terrible execution. My daughter is an athlete recovering from knee surgery. She is competing but still has pain and swelling sometimes and needs portable ice to take with her. This past weekend we took two packs with us to put on the top and bottom of her knee. The size would be perfect for this except that there is so little liquid inside the pack and so much air that you can’t feel the cold when you are placing the ice pack underneath an injury. Also when you place the pack on a knee all the liquid falls to the sides and does not put the cold where you need it. I could finagle it ad get around these issues, but it only stays cold for about 5 minutes (and that is being generous). It would take 4 packs to get the recommended 20 minute therapy time. Not worth it.

Doesn’t stay cold very long
The ice pack doesn’t stay cold very long and it is difficult to pop.

I use them for muscles
Not for lunch, muscles or wounds. It doesn't get super frozen but it's enough to help relieve some pain. There were so many I didn't need lol, I have 2 in there and the rest I put them away. I mean, I like them they're medium sized as well.

Very large ice pack
These ice packs are bigger than any other single use ice pack I have ever seen. At six inches by nine inches I'm impressed. I will be adding these to my first aid kits at home and in vehicles. I always take some camping or on basically any outing. I have used single use ice packs enough times that I feel like they are an essential addition to any basic first aid or survival gear. As long as I have room for one of these I will include one. Keep in mind they take up as much room as an average paperback book. And you do have to be at least a little careful to not pop the inside or you will activate the cold pack before you are ready for it to get cold.If you have never used one of these before I want you to know how awesome it is to have cold available at any time. You just squeeze the bag until you pop the bag on the inside. That lets the ingredients mix that cause the reaction that gets cold. Then you just apply the cold as needed. I have used these for sprains and other similar injuries. They are also good for someone who is in danger of overheating. They are not the best option for burns but it can help if nothing better is available. This is a really good item to have on hand.
