Ok this candle does a great job recreating that iconic scene in Spaceship Earth and the smell of the burning library. But, once you smell it in such a concentrated form, it doesn’t actually smell that great. My husband loved it, said it made him nostalgic. But it made me feel a little nauseous. Might be better in small doses!

I disagree with the other review. I have both the Rome burning and flume candle. If your house has large rooms, place the candle in one corner because the aroma can get strong. You don’t even need to burn it that long because the scent lingers and is pleasant. As mentioned, the scent is DISTINCT….and it definitely gives me those theme parks vibes. I’m definitely trying more flavors.

I purchased the burning Rome and flume candles…they just smell like burnt plastic. Don’t waste the money! I’m out 50$ on 2 candles that smell like an electrical fire.
