David Gilmour: Live At Pompeii 2017 [DVD]

Bought as a gift for dad, he seems happy with the concert and said it was good. So decided to give it 5 stars though I'm not a fan myself but my dad likes them.

Been a Floyd fan with almost all their albums collected on venal I feel this one is a must. IM not over keen on some of the early stuff but my first DVD or video as it was earlier. Was Live at Pompeii and going full circle Back at Pompeii again... It's great to see Dave Gilmour of course but sad the band is no longer as it was when the others were alive. I can only imagine the feeling of playing such a gig in such a poiniant venue. Of course the music all floyd fans know inside out. But for me and many others that's the attraction.A great DVD to add to your collection....

I've been a PF fan for as long as I can remember, viewed so many performances throughout time of them, then solo careers mainly David Gilmour, have managed to educate one of my (3) sons musically and showed him some of the songs on YouTube, he was as hooked as I am. This DVD is simply superb and won't disappoint, all of the musicians are incredible, the camaraderie between them is excellent, so much talent on one stage. I hope you enjoy this as much as we have 👌

What can I say, that hasn't already been said. DG on top form for his age. Contrary to other opinions I could not see him singing on the Great Gig track, that's a male backing singer lending his vocals to that one. Something IMHO that should be left to the ladies, and who can forget Durga McBrooms version of this track from previous PF concerts! However, the rest of it is a consummate performance from the artist. Great sound steering, and I really couldn't see the point of the Blu-Ray, the DVD is perfectly good.

If you like this sort of music, you will love this dvd, if you have never heard of pink floyd or david gilmour, give it a try , a brilliant concert, well worth double the money it cost.

Astonishing!!! Sound production is breath taking. What a setting for a gig. DG top 5 guitarists of all time.If you don't like this or it "sounds bad", upgrade your kit and/or you're mad/tone deaf/hate music/Roger Waters trolling!Plays fine, no gripes at all 🍷😁

Bought this for my guy. He enjoys watching it over and over.

Ascoltare uno dei chitarristi più iconici viventi in un ambiente fantastico. Tutto è da brividi: canzoni, inquadrature, arrangiamenti. Peccato non esserci stato quella sera! Consigliato
