Great for a quick fix
This was the first fitness DVD I had ever bought so I wasn't sure what to expect, I'm really happy with this DVD.It's broken down into 6x 10minute slots meaning if you don't 'have time' to work out, you can at least fit in one little 10min segment. The fitness instructor isn't very annoying but after doing some of the same segments again and again you know how it goes so I often mute the TV and play a bit of my own music.Sometimes during a segment the instructor will tell you how to position yourself if you are a beginner or a more seasoned exerciser. To be honest I wish that there was a separate segment to teach you the basics so that when you get going and become more advanced you don't get interrupted in the middle of a workout by the instructor repositioning herself for beginners or pro's.I use this 2-3 times a week and usually don't do more than one 10min segment at a time. I have noticed a big difference in my stomach over the past 5 months (I obviously try to eat healthy too). Initially I tried them all but found that I preferred one or two that I kept going back to. At the beginning I never went near the 6th segment '6 pack abs' because honestly I didn't want to be a 26 y/o female with a 6 pack. After a few months however I gave it a try and although it nearly killed me the first time, I go back to it at least once a week now because it really gives an all over work-out, it's definitely my favourite. I don't have a six pack (don't want one) but my stomach is definitely sculpted and at the weekend I bought my first crop top in about 10 years and have gotten complimented several times. I've also found that by having better abs I also have better posture so it's a win-win!I'm not a very dedicated exerciser so I'm sure that other people will have better results and faster if they are determined.

perfect for beginners and a great abs workout
Both these DVD's are excellent value for the money.The target toning for beginners is just that. I needed to start from the beginning, so this was a a good way to ease me into it. It comes in 5 separate 10 minute workouts, focusing on the Arms, Abs, Thighs, bum ('buns' being from america) and power stretch. You can play them in order or put them in the order you prefer. The instructor is clear and precise, I do recommend you watch it through first so you know what to expect. I also recommend watching the position of the instructor, she often moves her foot to get into position better for the exercise, which I in turn did and found it more effective.The blast off belly fat is not so much for beginners as it is fairly tough going, esp if you are not inclined to do a lot of abdominal exercise. However, do not let it put you off, it took me a couple of weeks before I could do the exercises smoothly (although still a challenge). Again with this there is 5 separate 10 minute workouts, of which you can do all 5 or pick and choose. Again I advise to watch through before trying and not to give up, once you get the hang of them you really will see a difference, I don't have the 6 pack, but I have lost the fat and feel stronger in my abs.All in all, I would recommend them to anyone looking to get back into fitness (and actually gives the dvd a chance, rather than giving up on the first attempt just because you cant do it!), but either hate the gym and or don't have much time, like me. I got the bug to use them nearly every day, some 1 hour workouts combining both, other days just a 10 minute blast to loosen off. But like any exercise video, you need to be aware of what the instructor is doing (which may take a few viewings and attempts)and know your body's limit.

In two minds about this
You may have read some of my other reviews I am quite a fitness fanatic and always love adding a new challenging workouts to my collection to do at home when I have some free time. I was stuck between giving this one 3 or 4 stars but settled on 4 as I don't really think I have given it a fair chance to be honest.When this DVD arrived (I could rant about the amount of time it took me to get this DVD but I shall stick to the review) I geared myself up for a good workout and popped it on. I'm not really sure where to place this DVD if I am honest. I think I was disappointed as I had expected something similar to the carb and calorie burner ab workout and the target toning ab work out. I am rather partial to regimented crunches as I like to feel the burn. This was nothing like that. This DVD combined alot of different styles of workout for abs into one DVD, which I suppose for those who don't like doing crunches is a good thing. I frankly found that some of the workouts were more difficult than they needed to be. Why am I going to do an ab workout that requires me to have super coordination and balance when I can get exactly the same (actually in my case better this didn't really do anything for me) from a much easier, similer workout? I like my workouts to be challenging but I like them to be challenging for the right reasons. Workouts that frustrate me are not that much use to me.I know I seem rather critical of this work out, I will try and give it another go, now I have started pilates I may find some of the workouts in this DVD easier than I did before, but I just didn't click with it all. The instructer didn't really seem to spur me on either, I didn't click with her at all and just wanted to turn it off.I would recommend it to people who perhaps don't like (or can't do) crunches as I think you will appreciate the varied ab workouts available in this DVD but it just wasn't for me.

Wenig Zeit-das ist die Lösung
10 min am Tag schaftt jeder....und man fühlt sich hinterher wirklich besser. Gut ist, das man die Übungen selber zusammenstellen kann und so in der Zeit sehr variabel ist. Hält man 4 Wochen durch, sieht man tatsächlich schon ein Ergebnis!!!Ein Stern Abzug, weil sich die Übungen in den einzelnen Sequenzen zum Teil wiederholen.

Effectif, stimulant, complet.
Super contente de cet achat. Je l'ai pris suite aux commentaires possitifs et après avoir testé ce DVD pendant un mois je veux moi aussi lui rendre service en le recommandant à tout le monde. J'ai du mal à pderdre des cm de tout de taille donc me m'y suis mise aux abdos. Au debut certains excercises peuvent sembler difficils mais on progresse au fur et à mesure et cela fait plaisir. C'est clair que dans 10 minutes on ne peut pas rentrer dans le detail des instructions pour l'excersise donc même si pour moi c'était clair, pour quelqu'un qui n'a pas du tout l'habitud de faire des excercies ça peut être difficile. Les 5 programmes sont assez variés et j'aime bien le fait qu'on peut composer son programme selon les envies, moi je fais en moyenne 2 par jour et je vois une nette amélioration sur mon abdoment qui est plus plat et plus ferme, même si j'ai encore du boulot à faire.

Excellent produit raffermissant!
Les exercices proposés par ce DVD m'ont fait découvrir que j'avais des muscles que je n'avais jamais sollicités!Après les premières séances les courbatures étaient là pour me le rappeler. Je croyais que j'entretenais mes abdos, mais la cinquantaine a provoqué un relâchement de mon petit ventre, avec bourrelés inesthétiques. Quand je mets le DVD en marche, je suis ma coach qui parle anglais, et qui m'encourage. Après deux mois avec trois séances par semaine (entre 20 et 50 mn quand j'ai le courage) les résultats sont là!

Ouf ca fait mal mais ca fait du bien!
Tout est en anglais, faut le savoir. Mais on travaille bien les abdos! On transpire bien. Je n'arrive qu'à faire 30 minutes et j'en peux plus et je suis quelqu'un qui fait du sport. Très contente

Excellent workout
This video has five different workouts for abs. I found that each workout really helped me. I lost inches around my waist and found my muscles tightened up so well that I went down a pants size. I also did select workouts during my third pregnancy and for the first time ever, I lost all the pregnancy weight 2 weeks after delivering. As a woman who can only have C-Section deliveries, I know that I have to work harder to lose the fat and tighten up muscle in the abdominal region. I started back at excercising with this video as soon as I was allowed and have already seen and felt a difference.
