Easy to install!
I’m not a mechanic at all, but even I was able to install the part I needed and after 5 minutes, my tailgate latch worked for the first time in over a year!

Needed some modification
Got this to repair a plastic piece for my van's sliding door latch assembly. Though this is designed for a smaller threaded stud, I was able to increase the hole size for a M6-1mm stud since there was sufficient plastic around the hole. Installed into the van with ease. Nice thing is that the clamp and be opened if necessary and the part re-used.

Does not fit 1997 F-250 tailgate
Much too small to fit the tailgate latch rods of a 1997 F-250 (which description says it will fit).

Does NOT fit my 1995 F250
This does not fit my 1995 F250. The place that attaches to the rod is too small. When you try to install it the clip breaks. I even tried modifying it with a screw and it still wouldn't attach. Also, if you are to do this you lose the grooves in the clip which would probably make slippage in the future.
