Swapped for factory- been working 4+ months no issues
Swapped in my tankless ecosmart - works great for 4+ months. SA TX has hard water and required decent amount of maintenance so I'm sure I'll be using these again

Screwed right in. I did use the screws from the original heater since they were better made than the ones that came with this element.
