These are great but if you are playing inside I’d recommend the feather version

The shuttles are good for the price paid. Last quite a while as well. Would recommend the product if playing at a reasonable ability.

They do as the box says. Robust and reliable too. Not too heavy and do not travel too far once you have hit them so perfect for a small garden like ours.

Sadly, although delivery was prompt, the shuttlecocks seem to 'spin' when they are used for play. We have never experienced this before. You only know how a product performs through use.

For those in a hurry - Yes! Mavis 10 is a good deal for practice and medium intensity play indoors and outdoors both - particularly if the discounted price allured you!! Now for those who have few more to ask - sticklers to the true essence of Badminton know clearly plastic shuttles are second best! Yonex is THE premium quality stuff for this particular typre of shuttles and Mavis has a great range to offer. Now, Mavis 3 to Mavis 2000 - that's a wide choice range, especially for a layman like me. Yonex Mavis 3 is very very essentially for the newbies who like to hit it out anywhere - be on court or at picnic. It's bit bouncy on any racquet and tends to fly in a long arc. Definitely not for serious play. Now, Mavis 7 is the interesting one - comes pretty costly at times but I really did not find what is so special about it. Almost same as Mavis 10, because Mavis 10 is a durable, no frills (no cap mark with tape; just green or blue Yones logo in respective colors) shuttle which is the cheapest replacement to higher range Mavis. Though point to be noted is - All the Mavis differ from each other in THE SIZE OF THE HOLES THAT ARE PUNCHED in the skirt of the shuttle!! That makes the flight change and variation on caps of red (fastest for coldest place), blue (fast for cold places) and green (slow for hot places) just adds to the effect. If you take green, initially everything seems to be dragging, whether it be Mavis 500 or 350. If you choose blue, initially everything seems to fly far and wide but at the end all colors get suited to your play. Red can be used only in Indian outdoors which has extreme winter chill I guess. Mavis 300 and Mavis 350 are THE ones that should be in your cart of you are a regular at your club or practice. They give value for money and will last 4-5 games maximum in harshest of ball play before showing signs of errant flight variation. Again nothing special found for costlier Mavis 500. I guess Mavis 500 behaves a tad more like feather shuttles than the 300/ 350. Never used Mavis 2000 but heard it is a grand!
