Still new and chemically. Good chamois take time to settle in. Sure these will too. Love the cases these came in to help stop them drying completely.

Synthetic and therefor pretty ineffective at absorbing water. A case of you get what you pay for.

Brilliant for cleaning ya car and washable.

A good size. In fact, they are large enough to make handling less than easy when full of water.There's scope for cutting them into two as they're so big.Container to put them in when finished but there's a smell when left for a few days.Hopefully this will disappear in time.

I used to use "shammies" similar to this when I worked as a valet in a busy accident repair centre.They're really easy to keep in good condition, and make light work of soaking up liquid, and leaving a smear free finish (on polished surfaces).These are much better quality than the ones I was getting from a car cleaning supply specialist for the trade!I've actually bought these for use as camping/backpacking towels for myself and my dog, and they'll be perfect.The sheets are a good size; large enough to get good coverage, but small enough to easily handle and wring out.I followed the instructions and washed in lightly soaped (Fairy Liquid) warm water, then thoroughly rinsed (before the first use), then tested to see how much liquid one sheet would hold:Each will hold around 400ml of water while dripping a little!I wanted to gauge the practical range, so I filled a bowl with 300ml of water, and captured all but a few drops.After a light wringing, I cleared up the few remaining drops with ease.The sheets come packed in their respective tubes, and sealed damp (with what is probably specially treated water) inside a plastic bag.Once the plastic bag is opened, you'll want to get the damp sheet back into the plastic tube...These sheets are really quite grippy, since their effectively made of rubber, and getting them into that tube requires a little stuffing and shaking, but it's important to keep them from drying out.However, it's also important to keep them from going mouldy, so it wouldn't be good to wrap them up tight in a polythene bag for example.These are excellent quality "shammies" (sham chamois).I'm very pleased, and may get some more.

Purchased as trying to save money from washing our own cars instead of the car wash. Used 3 times now and super happy with them. Each with their own storage case too
