Enjoy UHD content with enhanced contrast with the VIZIO P-Series 65"-Class HDR UHD SmartCast XLED Pro Home Theater Display. Its 128 active LED zones will dim in places where the image is supposed to appear dark to provide the effect of an enhanced contrast ratio. The 240 Hz effective refresh rate combined with Clear Action 960 technology will help smooth out the blur commonly associated with fast-moving objects.

Blotchy Discoloration
Ever since I first turned it on, there were blotches of discoloration within 25% of the display. I troubleshot with a Vizio Tech Rep and tried test patterns to clear the bad groups of pixels to no result. (The screen and lens were completely clean in the attached photo)

Extremely Satisfied
The television itself (make, model, etc) is phenomenal. Even though it's a 2017 model, it's still better than the 2018 P series model. This is the CLOSEST you can get to the Quantum series televisions that are out now. The ONLY issue is that you will HAVE to have internet connected to the TV so that you can run the software updates. Without it you have screen jutter, sound lag, and the main board begins to seize resulting in distorted imaging. The TV I received in general is still very impressive. I'll admit that I was extremely skeptical of buying a refurbished television so I made sure to purchase the very affordable 4 year warranty. The tv was in such excellent condition that the plastic stickers protecting from factory that protect the frame of the tv were still on it. There were zero scratches, fractures, and all hardware appears to be original. I did have to connect it to WiFi and run the update because within a couple hours of use, the main board had some issues and left me with distorted images but again, this is almost certainly a software issue and not an actual defect. Since I have had it for a week now, I've been able to administer several tests. This is TRUE 4K HD! My husband and I are avid gamers and we needed a television that was up to the task. There is no lagging, no trailing, no drop outs, no image burning, and NO BLOOMING! It has a great refresh rate and can keep up with the highest of speed images that the human eye can perceive. The ONLY issue we are having with the product we received is that there are a few spots on the screen that are lighter. We have been able to resolve this issue by purchasing a high quality cleaning spray and gently messaging the screen (while it's off) and it worked the spots right out.I dare say that this referbished tv is EXACTLY as it should be and I would never have known it was referbished otherwise. It's better than the brand new Vizio M Series I purchased brand new in 2015. If you're in the market for a high quality tv I highly recommend this tv even though the care it required right out of the box was a bit of a pain.My only gripe with my purchase is that I had to wait longer than necessary for my purchase. Granted, I only had to wait a day longer than the projected delivery day, I still feel a bit jaded simply because when I pay close to a grand for a product, I want it sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, VMInnovations failed to email me important instructions that would have informed me that it was my job to contact the freight company and their partner to schedule a delivery date. I could have had it 3 days sooner than it actually arrived, and that is a little frusting since it could have been easily avoided.

It was nice while it lasted.
It was great while it lasted, which was approximately 40 days. Then a line in the backlight began flashing in a steady pattern. All the time. After contacting VIZIO and providing the serial number, they stated that they did not have a record of refurbishing the unit and that it did not have a factory warranty.

Blown away by picture quality!!!!
So far so good!!!!! Just got it delivered 2 days ago showed no signs of wear or damage except for a scratch on the back of the tv, but honestly who cares. Picture quality is absolutely stunning. (Attached picture doesn’t do it justice) Screen does show reflections when viewing dark scenes but it is hung on the wall adjacent to to a sunroom facing south and does perform about equal to previous tv in reflections. Sound quality is a little poor but I already have a Vizio vht510 sound bar. So far my expierence with the SmartCast app has been good and shown know signs of some of the bugs I was concerned about, but I find myself using the Apple TV still.

BUYER BEWARE ... Customer Service Issues and Lemons
I have been a longtime fan, supporter, and advocate of Vizio and I have waited awhile to write this review after getting my new Vizio P65-e1.The TV was defective out of the box (which appears to be rather common when you start to look around online). I called in to Vizio and the first person I spoke to was the ONLY person who seemed to genuinely care and try to help. He was very kind and helped me set up everything to have it reviewed for exchange. I did everything on my end in just 20 minutes and then waited, and waited for Vizio to reply. When a reply finally came I was told that they would get the replacement sent out to me and exchange it in my home (all sounds good so far).Well, I was told on Saturday night that if I did not have tracking information and a confirmed date for installation by Wednesday (5 days later) to call back and talk to Vizio. Wednesday came and when it was almost gone I called Vizio, who transferred me to Manna (a shipping company), who said the TV had certainly arrived in Portland (near my home) and then transferred me to a local company who they said would schedule an installation. The local company was nice, but said they had no TV and no record of the TV.From here and for the last week I have made more calls and emails to Manna and Vizio than I can count and each interaction has been at best professionally short, and at worst flat out rude. I finally learned today, nearly one week after the TV was supposedly in Portland that it in fact has STILL not shipped from Los Angeles and I won't know when it will be ready for the local company to pick up. By the way, this local service provider is booked two weeks out for service, so we still have weeks left to wait and have now had to go thru much of the holidays with only a TV on the wall that displays a large bar and odd neon colors (how festive). The last straw came after the entire weekend of people at Vizio promising to help "expedite the process" and being told today that it takes 7-10 days and I already knew that. Well guess what, it's already been 10 days and no one can tell me where the replacement TV is and they still can't schedule for at least two weeks when it finally arrives.I gave Vizio one last chance to make it right before souring me on ever buying, supporting, or advocating for their product line-up again and I was told to kick a can.I bought this TV because multiple online reviews affirmed it was one of the best value TVs for high quality 4k content (short of buying on OLED). Someday maybe I will get to see what that quality looks like. For now I have attached the picture to showcase what my family has had to look at from Thanksgiving on and will still probably being seeing come Christmas morning based off the lack of Customer Service Vizio has provided.BUYER BEWARE!
