Extremely Sturdy Volleyball Net
Our 12 year old daughter started on the school volleyball team and is just beginning to learn the sport. We needed something at home to practice with her and help her particularly with getting the serve over the net. We searched quite a bit to make sure we purchased something sturdy since we figured the net would be getting hit a lot. We finally settled on the Pattiasy set and, we were right, the net gets hit a LOT. But this particular volleyball set is extremely sturdy and it is not an issue whatsoever.Everything you need comes included but you might need a hammer to pound in the stakes for the support lines, depending on how hard the ground is where you’re setting it up. It is very easy to set up and I really like the crank mechanism to pull the net taut. It all works together really well. It is a great volleyball set and we highly recommend it.We did run into one issue that was our fault but is difficult to fix so I’ll share it here. On the second time we set it up, we forgot to tie the upper net support line to the eye bolt on the pole. Yes, we were excited to play and got ahead of ourselves…don’t let this one happen to you because it’s tough to fix. When we connected the other end of that line to the crank, we started to crank the net taut. My daughter was doing the cranking and she was excited to get started so before we knew it, that line was all wrapped on the crank spool and had pulled into the net. In other words, it was INSIDE the channel in the net and no longer connected at all to the pole. And my daughter was quite excited on that crank so that line was now only about halfway through the length of the net. Seems like no big deal except how does one get this soft line back through that channel to the end of the net where it can be tied to the eye bolt on the pole…when the ENTIRE length of the channel is sewn closed? We did finally get it back through but it took running the exhaust of my shop vac through that channel, using a 2.5” to ~1” adapter, to blow the line through. We started with the air compressor but the shop vac had more volume and worked better. It’s not easy since the line tends to clump up inside the channel. It requires a lot of fiddling, use the shop vac to blow it a little further down the channel, fiddle some more, and repeat again. When it was finally within a few feet of the net end, I was able to use an automotive grabbing tool (about 18” long) I have that fit inside the channel. That tool was able to grab the line end, pull it the rest of the way, and we were finally back in business. This all took over an hour and I had all the tools on hand because we were home. I’m not sure what a person would do if this happened perhaps at the beach. Like I said, it was our fault but I hope you learn from us and don’t repeat this mistake.I would absolutely buy this set again and highly recommend it. It’s so solid, I have a feeling my daughter will be using it with her kids someday.

Relatively easy to set up, wish it didn’t sag in the rain tho
Have a narrow lawn where we had to improvise a bit - this is a full-size net which is great but we had to roll one end to fit it in our backyard. It’s fine for the kids’ practice all summer long but - here in the rainy PNW - the net started to sag the first day it rained. Being so short on space, we’ve had to rig it to the fence and house so will have to find a way to shed the rain and tighten the rigging after every storm. Wish there were various lengths of net for small backyards or for travel, just a quick and easy set-up for informal practices. This net took us some time to set up, in part because of our space constraints. We do recommend the net - comes with all the bells and whistles, seems well-made.

Arrived defective
The net itself looks and feels like good quality. However, I specifically chose this one because of the cranking mechanism. Well, just my luck, that mechanism came broken. It would simply not lock. You crank it as tight as you need, but it won’t stay tight because it does it does not lock. I have requested a replacement today, so we’ll see how that goes.***Update*** They sent me a replacement in a timely manner and the new product is excellent. The cranking mechanism is what sets this net part from the others. Adding an extra star

Fun for the whole family
This was larger than I thought it was going to be. It’s ok because at least it fits in our backyard. It’s been great for our family.

Excellent portable Volleyball Net
The materials and design seem high quality and worked to create a pretty stable net that was pretty tight for a portable net. Easy to assemble and take down.

Potentially great, but shipped and the tension line wasn’t fished all the way through.
So this potentially could be a great volleyball net. But we ordered this for my sons birthday present in April . The weather finally cleared up and we were able to head to the park. We unpacked everything today and started setting up and noticed that the black tension line on top of net was not fished all the way through and we had no way of getting it all the way through at the park. I’m actually unsure how I’m gonna do it now without cutting into the net.
