A bit too sensitive
It goes off every time someone talks, a door is shut, anything. It upsets the dogs. I ended up just putting it away...do not recommend

Dogs are still barking...I just put a new battery in and it worked for about 3 days. The dogs seem to not like the sound it when it works, however it does not work all the time as the thing goes through batteries every 3 days....WASTE of money. Sad I am past the return period as I would send this back.

Nope.
Return was easy, which was great. I have 4 Schnauzers. It is attractive, but my main barker (the Mom) got accustomed to it within 2 weeks. The others followed suit shortly after.

I bought this because my female lab has the habit of just letting out a loud startling bark/howl out of nowhere and it really affects me.Just turned this unit on. I went and rang the doorbell to see my dog's reaction. Her first bark was a real one and then she started this low growl that she does when she has her static collar on. I rang it again and she started barking loud and the unit didn't go off. It was in the living room down the hall so I can understand why. What I do NOT like so far is that a loud voice sets it off. If I laugh out loud it goes off. So I don't feel like I can leave it on all the time for when she barks at noises outside or when someone comes to the door. I don't want to have to run and turn this thing on whenever she barks.Edit: 2 hours later and I've decided to return the device because it goes off with conversation in the room. I can't have false triggers going off and making my dog uncomfortable when she's not barking.

It’s like the alarm is going off all the time because ...
Not sure what’s going on with this item. I put batteries in and turn it on. My dog runs to other end of house and stays there. It’s like the alarm is going off all the time because she hasn’t barked but runs from it. My understanding is it goes off when the dog barks. ????
