bought this at short notice to provide some entertainment at a dinner party. delivery was swift as is usual from prime and the game itself was well worth buying. you can find some quiz games are a little mickey mouse but this one has plenty of varied questions across a good range of topics. this in turn helps keep all players interested and certainly adds to the enjoyment of all involved. would happily recommend to anyone considering.

It's a great game, questions are harder than expected as we thought we would remember everything from the past year but that wasn't the case at all. The reason for 4 stars is the lack of questions as the game is not going to last past a couple of evening play unfortunately.

Brilliant quiz! I bought it for my family for Xmas as we all sit around and have a games daynon Boxing Day. The questions were a mix of easy and hard and really got you thinking about this past year! Great fun was had by all!

Brilliant game, played with family a few times on Christmas Day & Boxing Day 2018. Highly recommend it. Questions are pretty tough, but they are tough for everyone. Good laugh, your wildcards add some spice to it also.

We will start with the Negatives. The first thing that stood out to us is the size of the box compared to the limited contents inside. You get 10 cards for each 5 categories, so an underwhelming 50 cards, A few pens and a basic answer sheet pad. The questions are nicely varied in difficulty from being very easy to quite tricky but the grammar and spelling is fairly poor. Nearly every card has some kind of error which made the game feel very cheap. As others have mentioned the questions rely heavily on things that have happened in the past and 2019 being the anniversary of said event. On one hand this would give players with knowledge of older events a chance but this game is specifically about 2019. There are plenty of events that have happened this year without having to rely on anniversaries and birthdays.Some questions repeat themselves from one category to another. For example, you might be asked which team won a certain 2019 tournament and then on a different card be asked which 2019 tournament that same team won. Chances are you'll remember the answer second time around.So, The Positives. The questions that are about 2019 are very up-to-date. This is its main strength. We played this in October and there were questions about this upcoming December! Thats pretty impressive. Also. The pens are nice.

The Big Fat Quiz of 2018 comes with everything you need to host your own quiz night, it's presented in a stylish box and has a real game show flare to it. The box contains the essentials for the quiz including Pencils, answer sheets and of course, the question cards. These are split into different categories ranging from music to sports and are all based on events that have happened over the past year. Each card has multiple questions on it, so it's up to you if you want to select random questions for the quiz master to read out, or simply draw one card for each category and work through them. There are plenty of questions here, so you can play over and over again without getting the same questions, I'm personally looking forward to playing this with the family over Christmas, seems like it will be a great laugh.
