Love Unexpected

Overall, I enjoyed this story. I say this all the time, but if I finish it, that means it was worth holding my attention. In a world of reading possibilities, I’m not one to waste time on a book I hate. The t@b00 aspect of this book was hot, and I enjoyed the characters a good bit. The spice was really good, and I’m obviously a sucker for romance. My issues were with the writing style (I found it to be pretty choppy and clunky at times), pacing (simultaneously super rushed and also stilted), and that whole thing with Micah. I’m not in a hurry to read more from the author, but I’m hoping this little $mût dive will break my reading slump.

Dominic and Stassi! This is the first book I’ve read by Q.B. Tyler but it absolutely will not be the last. Their story was packed with emotions, steam, and was a bit taboo. I didn’t want to put it down and had I not had to go to work everyday I’d have probably read it in one sitting.After reading this I want to go back and binge read her back list.

Dear Readers Taboo & Tragic 💯 % very well written , yet proof you can’t help who you love ...the pull of the heart stronger than the mind . Even knowing how emotional & hard the relationship will be for others to handle. The heart wants what it wants.The looks & the assumption you would get would be a hard pill to swallow when you know it only happened . Once life threw hardship at them . Once she was old enough in the eyes of the law. As long as their is no child abuse !!!You can know your heart at 18 .. most people do not get to have their first love ❤️. Think for both of them this couple deserves happiness. I can not imagine losing two spouses. Brutal loss ... happening 2 times would make anyone want to give up . Instead he let his taboo thoughts about his step daughter grow .I think the only part I didn’t like about the book was the thought he was having thoughts of her while married to her mother . That is the one thing most women fear .Having their next spouse have feelings for the younger girl .So in ways this story feeds that fear . Showing how even while married to someone his age . He was looking up porn of a much younger girl .Wish it had stayed with the love grew after they lost the mother - Wife.Because for me how could the Stassi feel he truly loved her - when he was thinking of her while being married to her mom . It would mean he had cheating thoughts .I think about all the little things.Otherwise this book is beautifully written . Just wish it had not taken away from the mom like that . Being married to a man .. that looked up porn . I think how hurt she would have been had she known.No woman reading this would think that is okay. For me it’s why I would never would have had a step dad for my kids .I’m blessed I’m still married to my kids dad .I learned from my step dad .. how creepy they can be at times .So this book was just a curious read for me .How would a love unfold when they girl has the crush on the step dad instead.Any wayIn many ways this is a very difficult circumstance .You would have to really not care what others think or move like they did.Bibliophile Susan#Booksugargetkissed 💋 📚

Love Unexpected by Q.B. Tyler was yet another fabulous intoxicating read and did not disappoint! If you have a thing for forbidden/taboo Stepdaughter & stepfather connections that escalate quickly with a touch of instalove and kink then this is the one for you!This is the story of Stassia and Dominic and holy hotness—their taboo story was utterly perfect! Stassia met Dominic as a young girl and instantly fell in love—despite the obvious age gap and unlikelihood of it all hide…only for him to become her stepfather. It doesn’t help that between home and school he’s all she sees and while there is some attempt at space, the heart wants what the heart wants! Then tragedy hits and lines get crossed and man does the steam and kink escalate quickly with this one!I absolutely loved everything about this story! The spice, the forbidden taboo connection, the hot delicious steamy angst and everything in between made this one the perfect read!

Esse livro é tão errado e ao mesmo tempo tão bom!! Achei Stassia meio irritante, mas ainda assim recomendo muito.Com certeza vou ler mais livros dessa autora.

I liked the story and the spice 🫢 I really like taboo romance, but this one got me questioning a lot. I couldn’t quite get over the fact that Dominic fantasized about his stepdaughter while being married and in love with her mother. It would have been easier for me to accept it if it had been an ‘unhappy’ marriage. Loving both at the same time or shortly after one another has a kind of bitter aftertaste.I had the feeling the story was a bit rushed towards the end.In general it was a good read and the story has potential.

Full of taboo, viu soooo beautiful love story. Love their conexion, great chemistry and hoting...It really worth the reading

QB Tyler does taboo romance perfectly and I adore this book!
