Super 77 Multipurpose Spray Adhesive, Clear Adhesive, 1 x 500 ml, Beige

Without doubt the best commercially available multipurpose spray adhesive there is. Don’t get me wrong, it is expensive but you get what you pay for. Application is a breeze with the can producing a fine mist of adhesive in a vertical fan pattern; a couple of overlapping sweeps over the material to be bonded (both sides if you want an extra strong bond), wait around 20 seconds for the adhesive to become tacky then press the materials together. The adhesive goes on and dries clear with no staining whatsoever. I used it to attach a piece of acoustic foam to the rear of a piece of painted aluminium mesh. Couldn’t be happier with the end result.

Used this to line a box with velvet. It worked excellently. Bonds many materials together very well (I used fabric, foam, wood and even a little bit of metal). It sprays very well out of can with excellent pressure. Smells ok. Overspray is a pain to clean off your hands and things though. And when applying you must wait 20 or so seconds for it to get tacky and then it sticks well, almost too well to readjust that is. Take your time in preparation but make sure your ready to act fast and steadily when applying it. It’s the best stuff but it is too expensive in my opinion

Weird stuff. Very watery but after time and heat, the bond for fabric material etc is good. Don’t expect stringy carpet glue and instant grab, this is more like spray EVA but is solvent based so is much stronger. Handy stuff.

The aerosol did not work properly on my first order... the adhesive came out in big globs and frothed up around spray button. I returned it and ordered a replacement, as from my research this seems to be the most recommended spray glue for fabric. Glad I did because the second one works perfectly - fine spray and you can move fabric around as it takes a little while to fully dry.

I wanted something to use to stick photo paper. Previously I ended up with wrinkles in the paper. This stuff is great but a little expensive. It sprays a fine mist. Leave it for a minute or so and then attach.

Excellent

It took a long time to find out how to glue foam rubber to the wooden lid of a chest to make a box seat. This is the answer. It worked very well. I also found that I could glue the covering fabric onto the foam rubber to stop it sliding about even though it was also going to be stapled into place round the edges. When spraying, move evenly backwards and forwards and just go over the edges, there is a slight risk of a build up of glue if you change direction at the end of a run as one area will get a double dose.

Pricy

I used it to for a mini shoe DIY project where I attached fabric to a pot of faux leather boots. The adhesive worked really well. I tried a different brand for another pair of shoes and it didn’t perform as well. So I’ve just ordered my second bottle for yet another show project. This is my go to adhesive for DIY projects!
