I got this portable blender not for blending stuff, but as an upgrade for my old, manual protein shaker. And it just worked great. I usually keep a pack of protein power and a crate of bottled water in my trunk. I would finish my pre-workout protein shake before I stepped out of home, and prepare the post-workout protein shake on my car. And the problem for a manual protein shaker is that I always got too tired after an exhausted workout to shaken powerful enough for a perfect shake. So drinking the post-workout shake has been a problem of mine for quite awhile, which just drives me into buying this portable blender. And I think I am having great experience with it. The blender is large enough to hold 350ml of water and 2 scoop of powder and close tightly. So all I need to do is to fill in the water and then the protein shake, close the lid, turn on the machine. And after about 5 seconds, I would have a perfect shake right in the cup. I would then drink the finished shake on my way driving home. And after arrived home, I would clean up the bottle with tape water. I think the bottle is machine washable, but I never find this necessary. Since I am only brewing protein shake with it, I could just fill in clean water, put back the lid and let the machine run again. This self-cleaning process is so easy and effective. Overall, I am really satisfied with this portable blender, and find it fits into my life perfectly!

It is a real nice blender, but it does not crush ICE and I also did notice that you have to shake your protein shakes because if not the powder is going to get stock to the bottom of the cup or bottle. It is easy to clean, but the power is not there. I put in my protein shake a banana and ice and the results were not to great. Also to get this I had to order this item 3 times before I got it. First time it was lost, the second time Amazon sent me some bedsheets instead of the blender. I did not order bedsheets but I received the bedsheets but not the blender and the 3rd time was the lucky charm. Is a waste of money unless you want this to shake your protein powder but for this I rather get one that you can actually shake with your hands and not have an electric motor that is useless

The blender's performance is excellent, but the fact that the lid broke so soon is a significant drawback. I recommend this blender with caution, as the quality of the lid needs improvement.
