east2eden Dark Metal Wall Art Hanging Dragonfly

I bought this along with several others of same design as a Christmas present for my parents to put in their garden. The price is very good considering the quality (very sturdy). The delivery was quick also. I have a few grumbles though...1. The box came all bashed and crumpled. Very flimsy boxes used, but fortunately no damage done.2. One of the butterflies came loose in the box. Everything else was wrapped in bubblewrap. Given the box was bashed, it could have been worse. There wasn't even any bubblewrap that it had fallen out of, so it looks like they realised they forgot to wrap one and just dropped it in.3. My main issue is that the 'dark metal' that is illustrated in the pictures is NOT what you get. They have been painted a reddish brown. That's a bit of an issue as the fence where all these will go is exactly the same colour, so there's not going to be the effect I was hoping for. Like other reviewers say, they really should update their pictures if the design has changed.Other than that, very pleased. One piece (peacock) I bought is in Wyvale for £29.99, so you really can't fault the value for money, but they should make sure descriptions and pictures are reflective of what you'll get.

I have some we purchased a year or so ago.These are poor immatations.The metal is about half the thickness and feels cheap.The colour is nothing like as a attractive.They've changed the back so the butterfly has big legs which makes it hard to attach them to the wall flat, now you have a hook which sits about 2" proud of the back of the butterfly so they hang but are not secure on a wall.I think they are cheaper than when I purchased the first lot.Sad, this is the way things have gone.Lower the quality so you can lower the price.

Love this item. One of my fave pieces of garden wall art that have purchased from seller. It is a lovely size, really detailed&pretty. My 2 1/2 son loves all the wall art purchased, especially this item. It is hung at the back of my garden on the fence amongst other items purchased from seller. Great delivery speed. One happy customer.

I purchased 2 butterflies and a Gecko in April 2015. They have not lasted, in fact the Gecko is disintegrating. I have contacted the company through Amazon to be told their guarantee is for only 30 days and have not offered any help. This product is very pretty but WILL NOT last. So be aware If you are still tempted and no help from company. Unfortunately I had already purchased some more as an Xmas present and have not been put up yet but I am not holding out any hope

This has been put onto a back gate on a diagonal line and looks very effective. It is well made and a good size. If I was to be critical about anything, I would suggest a couple of screw-points within the item for securing to the fence / wall. You can secure around the filigree pattern, but I think specific points would just make it a little more secure. I like it.

Have already purchased a couple of butterflies with glass insets and they are beautiful. This dragonfly hangs between them and sets them all of beautifully against a boring wall. Well worth the money and excellent service. Would recommend for any dull area.
