Op/Tech Rainsleeve Flash - Twin Pack
Product arrived within 3 days of order - well done CameraKing UK. Op/Tech Rainsleeve Flash - Twin Pack The product itself is as described and for the price is reasonable. However, were I to suggest improvements I would have used a slightly heavier gauge of plastic/cellophane as the covers 'feel' as if they will only last a couple of uses. Ideally I won't have to use them too often but given the rain this summer I think I probably will have too.Plenty of room (using Canon 5D Mark III with 400mm lens [even at full stretch] and with a 580EX II flash gun on top and a battery pack on the bottom) and it still all fits. However, with the bigger lens and the flash on, it is easier to fit the cover if you take the lens off, putting the lens back on after fitting and going through the opening for the front of the lens. With the flash off, fitting with a lens on is easy. The outer package is a less malleable plastic and is easy to rip once the packet is open. This does not give you confidence that it will act as a reasonable container to put the cover(s) back in after use. Far better had it been a reusable outer packing. Luckily I had a spare nylon, draw string bag (200mm x 165mm) bag off a telephone headset and it fits the covers beautifully. Now if I have to put them away damp I know they will stay safe in the nylon bag. That said, for the price, these are good additions to a camera bag given the weather we have in the UK.I would recommend them as a standby for any SLR/DSLR camera user

Value for money
Does a job protecting expensive equipment, they take up no space are not built to last but for the price the pack of 2 should last at least a couple of years using 3 to 4 times a year.

Good for the price.
This is a good cheap alternative to the expensive waterproof housings on the market. It folds down nice and small and can be popped into the back of your camera bag. There is ample room on top for a large flash but as another reviewer mentioned long lenses need to be fitted after you have put the cover on the camera. The size of this cover will fit even the longest lens but problems arise when used with shorter lenses such as a 50mm. There's a lot of bunched up plastic which tends to collect pools of rain water and being rather thin plastic any split or hole could lead to leakage. I suppose as a precaution it would be best to replace the cover after a few uses, after all they are cheap enough. One other problem is that the camera neck strap can't be used at the same time. I have used this hand held but ideally it works best on a tripod. To sum up, this is a handy piece of kit with one or two drawbacks but for the price you can't go wrong.

Essential standby for outdoor photography.
An essential accessory for any outdoor photography. Will easily accommodate a large DSLR with a battery grip and a substantial telephoto / zoom lens, and the flashgun cover is a real bonus too. Perhaps not as durable, but definitely more flexible than the Kata Elements cover I bought 12 years ago, but given how cheap these are that really isn't an issue.

Good but could be improved - 4 stars!
Haven't tried it out in the rain but I have fitted it over my camera and it seems like it would do the job well. Although I think it would be better if there was an opening for an external flash because the plastic reflects some of the light resulting in bad photos, hence the 4 stars - as there is some room for improvement. However, overall it is a good product 👍

Good Purchase
Although the camera sleeve is more commonly used to protect the camera from rain or moisture I have found it useful (at least it gives peace of mind) when using the camera in windy or potentially dust situations. Plenty of room for camera and hands and can easily see camera controls though the clear plastic - receiving two sleeves was good value as well.

Using it in the Rainforest
I used it in the rainforest at Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya). I got drenched, my camera did not. However, after exiting the rainforest I did find a little moisture accumulated in the folds. Near the edge of the chasm facing the Falls the "rain" is torrential. That alone could account for the ingress.

Unbeatable for the price
Can't beat for the price and can be 'hacked' by opening the top of the flash protector and rotating 90 degrees to become a dual opening sleeve when a flash is not attached. I now use under a secondary canvas based cover to give double protection which normally results in any condensation being between the two covers and not between camera and cover. When tightening the toggle I normally tie a separate knot to prevent the original knot on the string end catching in the lens hood which happens surprisingly frequently!
