I’m a big citizen fan, I didn’t know how I was gonna feel about this watch. The battery life is a concern but when you get the right setting it can last all day or for a few days.. it dose and has everything I wanted and like.. so to me it’s worth it. Just get familiar with what this watch has to offer and it might shock you…

I wrote a review shortly after purchase saying I was "somewhat disappointed." I cannot figure out how to add to that review, so starting again here. I have had the watch now for 6 months now. I have taken it on 3 extended trips. I generally don't wear it daily, but probably for a short time each day while at home. I tried to like it and give it a chance. But I give up. I am mostly disappointed that I spent $300 on this essentially unusable item. Most importantly, the charge won't even last for ONE full day. And I basically mostly only use it to tell time with. That is a non-starter with a watch, especially for travel. Second, it is wonky. It seems like at least once a week, I lose the current watch face. Suddenly, today, I cannot even get it to display ANY watch face. Isn't seeing what time it is kind of the definition of a watch? As I noted previously, the gold version is very nice looking (I get compliments on it all the time). But it might as well be a toy watch, as it is basically not functional. There is also a COMPLETE lack of documentation, even on line. A company with the reputation of Citizen should really be ashamed to have rolled this out. Citizen: ABYSMAL FAILURE!

BEAUTIFUL SMARTWATCH DESIGN, FROM A RENOWNED BRAND

I have both this and a GalaxyWatch 3. I have to say this watch has a nicer screen, is as quick, looks much more refined, and could pass for a standard watch which is what I wanted.I wish the battery life was a little longer, I had to charge mine every day.This is the smart-watch I was looking for, I'm not running any marathons or anything like that. I wanted a smart-watch that blended in with business attire that I could also use with my Golf GPS app, tracks my steps each day, and this does that.

I was a long time Pebble user and frankly all these years later I still think it is the best smart watch ever made. Well, mine finally started becoming unreliable (it is 10 years old after all) so I started looking for a replacement for my Android phone.I mainly bought this because I needed one quickly and this one was on sale very cheaply. I really like the look of the watch. I think it is way nice looking then most or all of the traditional black faced smart watches. But I no longer use it as a smart watch.I found the battery life to be abysmal even when I try to get it adjusted to use as little as possible. Often it won't make it a full work day.I don't like the alert functions. I like when I get a little haptic feedback and look at the watch and see my new alert. For the life of me I can't get this watch to do that. I need to interact with the dial to make an alert show.Just no. If you want a nice looking watch that has limited smart functions that you use sparingly go for it.If you want a really useful smart watch I would pass this one by. I ended up with a Pixel Watch and while still not as great as my Pebble it has been a much better choice than this one was.

Love the watch, would definitely recommend. The only thing that I wish was a bit better is the battery life. But overall a great buy!

I am a huge fan of Citizen watches. they are well made and beautiful. I didn't want an iWatch so I started looking around at different types of smart watches. I was over the moon when I discovered that Citizen makes a smart watch. There are several issues; first its running an older version of snapdragon. Not a deal breaker but something to consider. Second(not Citizens fault) it couldn't stay connected to my phone. Yes apple once again proves they don't want you thinking for yourself and finding something outside of their world. Finally the watch is not for left handed people. I know that sounds weird but it simply doesn't work well on the right side.
