I love this product works great

Just used this fancy new scale to measure the max lift capacity of my little Massey tractor.We are going to be decorating our yard with large granite boulders, and I needed to know what we could or could not get out of my truck, and move around the yard.As you can see, by using the top links I put on the bucket (previous post) I was able to lift a solid 1000 lbs by pivoting the bucket backwards so the straps attachment position was behind the lifting arm bucket pivots. This gave me extra leverage to lift extra hard. However, it also meant that whatever I lifted would be pretty close to the front of the tractor, and could swing into my front grill guard.Next, I pivoted the bucket forward so the straps hung straight down, in more of a normal high-lift position, ahead of the front bucket pivot points (see picture). At that point, I could only lift about 800 lbs, but I had more swing room, if needed.The scale was very easy to read, and setup with the straps was quick, with it's built in attachment hardwareRoger

Arrived broken. Wouldn't turn on.

Over all it seems to be of good quality and it has nicely finished metal body. The only thing that’s plastic is the front screen. Manual is written well with all the dos and don’ts. I haven’t got to use it that much yet. Mainly bought it for checking weight of tools and equipment and It will fit in a small aftermarket case (see photo). I wouldn’t say it’s industrial but in a home shop wanting to know how much engine or transmission weighs, things like that it would work just fine. Just remembered they need to be handled with care or you could really screw up the load sensor.

Using it to weigh trailer tongue

I attached this scale to a pulley system in my shed so that I can weigh various items in my shop. It is easy to attach and does a really good job weighing different types and shapes of objects. I found the interface to be somewhat difficult to use. For example, the included instructions direct the user to press and hold the power button for one second to turn the unit off, but it took longer than 5 seconds before it powered off. I pressed and held the "zero" button for 10 seconds before giving up on resetting the scale to zero, and I just turned it off and turned it back on. It should be easier to use and more intuitive than it is. Also, I can't imagine why I would need a remote, when I would be at the scale itself doing the operating and reading, but that doesn't detract from the unit.Overall, I'm happy with this scale and it does what it should, but for the price, I wish it had an easier interface and was a bit more intuitive to use.

This scale seems to be accurate. I won't be using it for a while. Just add batteries & go. I'll reviewagain after a heavy lift. I'll be weighing the front end of my car to purchase the proper springs.
