ProStretch StretchRite, Stretching Strap for Sore Muscles, Blue/White

This is the identical brand of stretching straps that my physical therapist uses in his facility, and I wanted one for home. It’s exactly what I needed.

Great equipment to help in a total knee replacement recovery! The site I am going to for PT uses this equipment.

I first used this product at physical therapy after tearing a few ligaments in my ankle - and I love it. I'm a runner with terrible flexibility and after 3 months of PT and using this product both at therapy and at home I can touch my toes for the first time since I was a small child. The simple genius of this strap is the "beads" that run along the ends. To get a really good stretch - the kind that hurts a little and will actually increase your range of motion - requires quite a bit of force. In the past I've used yoga style stretching straps and a rope product that I thought were fine, but I didn't realize how poor they were until I used this product. The beads on this strap not only allow you to get a really good grip on the rope that won't slide as you pull into the stretch but they also are a great way to measure your progress (e.g. yesterday I was on the second bead for my hamstring stretch today I'm going to see if I can do it using the third bead). I have to say if I hadn't first used this product at PT I don't think I would have paid this much for a stretching product but since I had used it first and knew what a great product it is I had no reservations about the price. The product is incredibly study and well made. At PT these straps are used all day long and seem no worse for the wear.

It isn't evident from the photo and description: This strap is great, particularly for hamstring stretching, because it has "handles", which are essentially big beads, all a long the sides. So it isn't as compact as a flat band would be, and therefore not a good choice for travel or the gym bag.

This is my second physical therapy stretching strap from this seller. It’s great for tight muscles which I have and I am constantly battling hip bursitis on my left side. Highly recommend.

The place that I go for Physical Therapy uses this strap. I love it because of the plastic pieces. I can easily hold onto them. They don't cut into my hand like other straps do. I also like the fact that there are the looped ends of strapping - because some of my therapy includes putting much of the strap through one of the ends to make a different loop, and then sliding that loop over my leg and then tightening it so I can pull my ankle back while lying on my back on my bed with my leg dangling over the side. Someone who knew the needs of physical therapy certainly was involved with how this was made! Also, at PT, multiple people use these every day - so they obviously are made well enough to last a long time.

This works good but its not what i expected,i was under the thought of it stretching. I was wrong but if you want to use it before exercising it would be good.

If you have plantar fasciitis, this could change your life. It's probably good for anything ham-string related, too.

Great product. Innovative design. The tendinitis affects of my osteoarthritic knees are nicely remedied by building my hamstrings on the stationary bike followed by stretches as shown. Strap is easy to pull with my sore arthritic hands because the plastic grab bars are comfortable to hold as opposed to wrapping a strap around my hands or wrists to pull.

I have ms so it helps me strech my calf muscles
