I have an older home that has a lot of recessed lighting. I wanted to add more light in my garage but didn't have time to rip the can out and install a new fixture. My light bulbs screw into the side of the can and not into the top. These little beauties screw right in and can be turned 90% down and then you can screw the new bulb right in. I bought 4 and they all work great. One is a little fussy but still works well (might be that my outlet is the one being fussy). I've had them for a couple weeks. I like that there is a switch on them and they swivel so you can position them up or down. I use them down currently with my smart bulbs. I'm thankful somebody made this since I needed it.

I've been looking for a replacement of these for a very old one that finally conked out on me that we had in the bathroom. It was perfect for any kind of bulb, and as a nightlight for hallways & the bathroom due to its compact build. To find a 2-pack for such a price was a terrific bargain!
