This is such a great book. The author did an phenomenal job at setting the tone and pace of the book. I was not able to put it down once i started. If you like slow burn romance go for it.

No words
You have to read it to believe it. It's out of the world. At least for me. I always come back to them. This story can never not be amazing.

A great read!
I enjoyed this book a lot. My first in the slow-burn romance category. I came in for the romance but I stayed because I fell in love with the main character and her journey. The build-up of love between the two characters felt organic. I look forward to reading more books from the author.

Wonderfully written addictive story
This is the second time that I’m reading this book. I first read it five years ago and it always stayed with me. Mariana Zapata’s books and stories stay with you long after you’ve read them. I have read all her works and I’m always on the lookout for her new book. In the meantime, I’m planning to re-read her works. ♥️

Go for this if ur into slow burn romances
So Ive read 4 of Mariana's books and can definitely call all of them supre slow burn romances. This one has the age-gap trope, but since sal is like 27 here the age gap doesn't reall make much of a difference.Really loved the chemistry between the two!Now onto the next one 😁

Slowest of slow burn… but loved it!
My first read by this author although I’ve seen her books recommended on many of the book pages I follow!I had read reviews going into this read so I knew it was slow burn. But seriously this is SLOOOOOOOOOW. Not a bad thing for me but for those who aren’t into it, it took until nearly 90% for anything to actually happen. The chemistry and relationship between the two characters is 🔥 and that my friends is why I didn’t miss the steam or spice I usually like. Together they are perfect, as in soulmate, meant to be together for eternity, I refuse to see them with anyone else, PERFECT ☺️The story is long, and knowing it was slow burn I did wonder at the beginning how Zapata would fill so many pages with the two MC’s not being together. Make no mistake though, she did it and never did I feel bored or start skipping or skimming. I was too invested in the characters and their stories. And I must mention Kulti - seriously swoon 😍 he’s a massive grump for most of this book but that’s why once he starts to share his feelings, my heart thumped and my thighs clenched all the more!I will most definitely be looking at this authors other reads!HEA: ✅Spice/Steam: 🔥🔥 (at the very end though quality is 10/10)Hero: 👑 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Heroine: 💜💜💜💜💜Chemistry: 💥💥💥💥💥Angst: 😬😬 2/5Slow burn rating: 🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋 5/5 (seriously the slowest I’ve EVER read)Sport content: ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ it’s a big part of the story but don’t let that put you off, I don’t feel you need to know about football/soccer to enjoy itTropes: enemies to lovers, sports, sunshine/grump, age-gap, slow burnOverall rating 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Taco and the Sauerkraut
I could gush for pages about this epic, epic read. It's trademark Zapata, long, detailed and the slowest burn, and that's exactly its charm. It's a book you hunker down and lose yourself in with some phenomenal characters, you live their life with them for the duration of the read (and some time after!). The Taco and the Sauerkraut and their relationship had me hooked. I raged, I had a happy tear and just genuinely adored this story. It spoiled me for other reads (make that ruined), and I also said the same about The Wall of Winnipeg and All Rhodes... Do yourself a favour and read this, you won't be disappointed.

Be patient when reading the story, it takes a few chapters to get there but its worth it.
Sal is a female soccer player and is good at what she does. She has given up just about everything to play her game and wants to be the best. Kulti was a superstar German soccer player who retired, and he was someone that Sol looked up to and had a bit of a crush on most of her life. To see him on her pitch knowing he was to be her new coach had her in a bit of a tizzy. She soon got over that when the man just didnt interact with any of her team. She was never one to stay quiet and she started punching his buttons until they became an odd sort of friendship. Its a slow burn where the two of them get to interact and its funny in parts. When the owner wants rid of her she is hurt after all she has given everything to the team. Kulti starts to feel something more for her and she has no idea. Great read.

5 stars!!! WUNDERBAR!!
I wanted to read Kulti from ages but after reading “The Wall of Winnipeg and me” and its very very slow burn I just couldn’t put myself through it again so quickly...BUT I was going back to that book many times at least to my favourite parts, appreciated it a lot more than before and suddenly I felt that I was ready for KULTI!I absolutely LOVED IT!!! It was even slower that The Winnipeg but as much good if not better! At first I think I really enjoyed it because this time I was very patience knowing that it will take both characters long time to be together!Well it taken them ages considering that Kulti spoke only one sentence within 20 % of the book and this book is long really long...This book was like a good dark chocolate that takes long time to melt on your tongue slowly releasing its amazing bitter as well as sweet flavour but leaving you feeling joyful and satisfied! The banter and name calling made me laugh out loud so many times - especially being half German myself!!! 5 stars!!!

Loved Kulti and Sal
This was a slow burn, sports perfection. Sal is a professional football (or soccer) player, being one was her dream since she understood what a ball is.At the same time she has another dream as well, to meet, marry and have kids with the football (soccer) superstar player Reiner Kulti. That was before, now she doesn't want that, she doesn't want any relationship. But her wishes are finally coming true, even if she doesn't want it, Kulti will be her new coach. She would be able to see him often and up close.Sal is such a strong character, she doesn't care about what others thing while she is doing everything she can to always be the best in the field.Kulti is so quiet, grumpy and kind of a loner. I love trying to find the subtle hints that show more about him and his character.I loved this age difference, romance from start to finish.
