I have had my camera for about 2 weeks now, and I am very pleased with its quality, features and value. I can also recommend Ctronics support as both prompt and informative. Eric Xiao has helped me set up and tune my camera to my specific requirements.Right out of the box, the camera is easy to set up. Just plug it in and follow the user manual instructions to download the mobile app and configure the camera to your wi-fi network. It will immediately start detecting motion. By default, it has a blue and red light that flash in an alternating pattern when it detects motion. I did not want my camera to be that conspicuous, so that was my first question to support. There are 'Call' and 'Set' codes that can be entered via the mobile app. To disable the blue/red flashing lights, the code is 133 Call. Also by default, nighttime motion detection triggers the camera to turn on a bright white light to enable color night vision. For me, the infrared black and white vision is preferable, so from the computer app I set "Intelligent Night Mode" to "Common vision" to disable the light. The distance of the nighttime infrared vision is nothing short of amazing.The camera body is fixed and is intended to be mounted to a vertical surface via four screws. I wanted to test the camera in various locations, and also don't want to put any holes in my vinyl siding, so I zip tied the camera to a vinyl siding bracket so I can move it around. The camera requires an A/C outlet for power. I have a few on the outside of my house and the cord is about 10 feet long, so this was not an issue for me. I've had no wifi connectivity issues. The router is about fifteen feet away and the signal has to pass through three walls.The camera has a micro SD slot for storing recorded video and images. It can accomodate up to a 128 Gb midro SD card. I inserted a 32 Gb SD card. By default, the camera records video continuously and saves it to files on the card in 10 minute (600 seconds) increments, configurable between 15 and 900 seconds. I also disabled this feature as unnecessary, opting for motion activation recording. This feature is fixed at saving the motion video to file in fifteen second intervals. This is suboptimal when the motion is tracked for a few minutes, as there will be about four files per minute. I have requested a feature upgrade to have the same configurability (15 - 900 seconds) for motion recording as for schedule recording. From the standard mobile app, it is currently necessary to go back to the video file list after playing each file and selecting the next. There is however, a "Pro" version of the mobile app (also free to download), that allows viewing by time, so it simply proceeds from one file to the next seamlessly. This is a reasonable compromise for now, but if you wanted to download a longer motion capture, you will have to download all the fifteen second files and use a video editor to stitch them together. I've found the daytime motion detection, tracking and video capture to be very good, though occaisionally losing the subject being tracked, or incorrectly identifying an inanimate object (e.g., my mailbox) as being worthy of motion tracking. For nighttime, I will have to test and adjust sensitivity, because there are many false positives, such as flying insects, which are almost continuously triggering the motion tracking. Still, after more that two weeks, the 32 Gb card has not yet filled up and begun overwriting older files, so a 128 Gb card should be able to store around two months of activity before overwriting older files.I'm not sure if this is the physical capacity of the camera, but I have noticed that saved images and video properties show a 4:3 aspect ratio at 5 megapixel 2560 x 1920; however, live viewing and video playback on the phone is stretched to fit the display, losing the aspect ratio and making everything look shorter and squattier. I would prefer having black bars on the sides and maintaining the aspect ratio.The feature to configure up to thirty preset zones, then turn on auto cruise works well. I have set eleven zones, starting from far left to far right, then returning near right to near left in a loop. This covers about a 180 degree area. If you mount the camera on the corner of a building, you could cruise a 270 degree set of zones. When motion is detected, I have it set to pause the cruise and track and zoom in on the motion. It is not zooming in as closely as I would like, but I haven't yet checked if this is a configurable setting; however, if you are actively monitoring the camera via the mobile or computer app, you can use the PTZ controls to override and zoom in up to the 30x optical max.So far, I would say my experience has been mostly positive, both with the camera and with the support. My only critique of the camera itself is the limitation of vertical surface mounting only, as some people may want to mount it to a horizontal surface above. With regard to the software, I would like an option to configure the maximum recording time for motion capture, before saving to a new file and also to merge the Time playback feature of the Pro version into the regular version, rather than having two versions of the mobile app. I would also like the display to maintain the aspect ratio. These software issues are minor and could be addressed by a new release of the app.Overall I would highly recommend this camera.

Camera worked great for 9 months. Great resolution, zoom, clarity etc... Made it through Maine Winter but then just stopped working. Talked to customer service. Super helpful. After some testing, confirmed it didn't work. They sent another one at no cost to me. I also didn't need up send back the original.

All too often we settle for mediocrity simply because it's the best available. Occasionally we come across a product that actually excels at it's purpose. This is one of those.The 2 images are the same position, one is 1x, the other 30x. The water tower is 1½ miles distant.The optics of this camera are far better than expected. Considerably better than binoculars for the same distance. The infrared will light up reflective roadsigns at over a mile distant. It is compatible with other control software, and it is highly customizable with direct special commands.That said, there's room for improvement with the app & software. The translations aren't the best, and some of the buttons are confusing. Setting and transfer for instance should be "set" or "store" and "recall" for better clarity in English. There is no way I can find in the software to activate the patrol function. It must be done by special commands. This isn't a very user friendly interface and is definitely the weak point of this system.Adding a variable delay for your presets would allow for longer time on points of interest during patrol mode. I worked around this by putting the same location in multiple adjacent set locations to increase the time.The red/blue warning lights can be switched off, as well as the visible light is stealth is desired.The human tracking is better than expected for this price point. It's Achilles heel is anyone walking across directly under the camera, as it seems to have difficulty deciding which axis to move to track you and gives up. The dual triggers help eliminate false motion alarms if you have moving shrubbery.The vehicle tracking is a bit hit or miss. Different shaped vehicles respond sometimes poorly or not at all.We have had temps in the 106°-111° range this year and the camera has functioned well, despite being mounted in the evening sun. Only time will tell how the housing holds up to the level 15 UV we get here.Overall a great buy, and I have hopes that a company as responsive as this one will get their apps & software kinks worked out soon, and this will indeed be one of those devices that have escaped modern mediocrity.

I really wanted to like this camera, but unfortunately had to return it. It was easy enough to install, but it would not stay connected with my router only 15 feet away and a very strong wifi signal. The Ctronics offshore support team did not really provide any solutions that I had not already tried. Although I might have lived with the camera connection dropping, the deal breaker was the video quality. Although the camera settings allowed a high bit rate and up to 30fps shutter speed, it never produced a recording better than 15fps, even in bight sunlight. The offshore support team's response was that the camera would automatically adjust to environment conditions and nothing I could do to override the automatic settings that the camera would choose. Full sunlight was not good enough to produce the 30fps I was looking for apparently.

Très bonnes caméras Ctronics- Elnum d' une bonne qualité. J'ai eu recours à eux pour installer mes caméras, l' installation c'est faîte facilement car tout était clair , simple, et très efficace.. Nous avons eu contacte par mail et les réponses étaient très rapide. Je remercie vivement la ou les personnes qui se sont occupés de moi.. et en plus le réglage est très facile.. Je recommande vraiment ses caméras intelligentes.

Tiene muy buena calidad y funciona perfectamente. La imagen es muy nítida tanto por el día como por la noche se ve perfectamente.Es muy fácil de instalar y con la aplicación es muy fácil de manejar. Puedes llevarla de un lado a otro y de ese modo tienes visión muy amplia de donde decidas instalarla.ELNUM es muy profesional, si tienes algún problema te da una solución de manera rápida.Muy recomendable, la cámara es de las mejores en relación calidad precio. Die Inbetriebnahme der Kamera ist sehr einfach und auch die Bedienung der App ist weitestgehend selbst erklärend, auch wenn ein paar Übersetzungsfehler vorhanden sind.Die Möglichkeit zur Nutzung von FTP machte diese Kamera für mich interessant.Wünschenswert wäre noch ein Montagegehäuse im Portfolio zur Verwahrung der Anschlüsse und möglichen Integration der Spannungsversorgung. In meinem Fall behalf ich mich mit Abzweigdosen.In den verfügbaren Anleitungen sind leider nicht alle Codes aufgelistet, diese konnte ich beim Support hinterfragen.Respekt vor diesem Support - jede Frage wurde in weniger als 6 Stunden beantwortet.Ich wurde von ELNUM bestens informiert.---------Update:Leider funktioniert die Kamera seit ein paar Tagen (8 Monate nach dem Kauf) nicht mehr. Die Reklamation wurde entgegen genommen. Der Kundensupport von GrasGrow setzte sich innerhalb kurzer Zeit mit mir in Verbindung und versuchte durch logische Rückfragen und Prüfvorschläge den Fehler einzugrenzen. Leider konnte nur ein Defekt festgestellt werden - Mir wurde ein Ersatzgerät angeboten, welches auch unverzüglich versandt wurde.Nach wie vor großen Respekt vor diesem Support.Ich kann das Produkt und die Fa. GrasGrow nur empfehlen.
