Everything good except
Super easy to install. However, you want to get your own screw bolts if you want install directly into the stud. They only give you very cheap bolts.

It holds the whole quiver of boards
I love this rack. It holds my whole quiver of snowboards (8) and a pair of skis on the shallowest setting. I think I could also get my surfboards on it but I don’t want to add much more weight. So many other things that use this far as well. We might have to get another one for the other side of the shop.

I Like These Ceiling Storage Rack Mounts
This is one of my favorite future mounts I'm looking forward to installing in our garage after renovation delays are resolved. I loved that this had loads of protective foam around the steel metal and its black coated to prevent rust it states on the Daks Amazon page. I also love that this is adjustable width wise by removing the "middle" section because we are going to be using this according to whatever needs we have for it and it may require those adjustments. These are even height adjustable, and I think these are worth the current sale price of $59.99 since there are so many perks to these. My ideas for this are to use it for for the long pieces of trim, window frames, baseboards and siding from our renovations as long as I don't go over the 80lb load capacity on each side Dak states. They also say that I need to make sure the weight is distributed well and when done correctly I expect this to do well for our needs. Whenever renovations are done I'm hoping to finally swap out the lumber for my snow board and fun stuff one day. Thanks, wish us some luck on renovations, and hope this helps so far!

super easy install in unfinished basement
I installed this in an unfinished basement. Finally, can stop leaning those 3 snowboards here and there.Since my joists are the standard 16 inches apart, I set the rack ends 32 inches apart, which is perfect for snowboards and skis for both grownups and kids. I set the height at the 3rd hole down.At first I tried the 2nd hole down but the pin couldn't fit through its last set of holes, so I just went to the 3rd hole. Spinning a tapered metal file around the hole probably would've opened it big enough. That was the only problem I had. No problems using their screws after pre-drilling with 3/16" as they suggest. There's a little bit of play at each side's 2 quick release connection points, so each arm will end up angling a tiny bit downwards; so they're not exactly 90 degrees. It's so slight, that it's not a problem at all, and besides, nothing's slipping on the nice padding.Bottom line: not perfect, but still a great rack to put those snowboards (with their bulky bindings) in a safe place out of the way.
