Snout Soother

My dog had been suffering from black crusty growths and feathers around the nose for six months. It started with just one growth and gradually worsened. The growths would eventually drop off and be replaced by new growths. Two months ago, I took my dog to the vet with a sample of growth that had dropped off. the vet said that she did not know what it was but that she could put the sample under the microscope. Total cost £61. The verdict was that there was nothing bacterial or fungal in the growths. Her only suggestion was to take a biopsy whilst my dog was under anesthesia which would cost several hundred pounds. I decided to surf the net and try and solve the problem myself before resorting to the vet’s suggestion. The growths were not causing my dog any discomfort and there were no other symptoms but they were worsening and looked unsightly. I first tried a homeopathic remedy for warts in case the problem was viral. This did not work, then in desperation, after further surfing on the net, I came across snout soother. I did not think that the problem could be dryness as the growths were at the edges of the nose, and surely the vet would have considered this possibility? However it was worth a try. I am on Day 6 and the problem has virtually gone. There was an improvement in 24 hours. It really is quite incredible. The product is lovely to apply. I just rub my ring finger gently in a circle in the product to warm it up and soften before applying. My dog doesnt like it being applied but I give her a treat immediately afterwards to stop her licking it off. One reviewer suggested that vaseline would work just as well. Maybe it would, but I doubt it .... this is a quality product with natural ingredients with a lighter texture and lovely gentle smell. I wish I had taken photos. Needless to say, I am changing my vet.

This is an excellent product that works really well. My Bulldog staffy mix dog had developed a really dry nose which was scabbing. Three days after applying the snout soother I could see a difference. The scabbing was starting to disappear and after one week the dogs nose was healed. The only problem you might have is your dog will try to lick the soother off. To alleviate this problem keep some treats handy when you apply the soother, this should take the dogs attention off the cream. I applied the soother cream 3/4 times a day. Well worth the money.

Excellent balm that absorbs quickly into the dog’s nose before they can lick it off . Our German Shepherd has had trouble with a cracked nose for weeks. This stuff is definitely making a big difference.

There is a herby like scent to this but our dog happily will let you put it on his nose. To reduce him licking it off before bed we pop a bit on the top of his paw (the fur) and he licks that instead of his nose. He gets excited now every night to have it applied. It took about a week with applications of three times a day to see the best improvement. We now apply just at night before bed. If we stop using the problem comes back within a day or two so it looks like it would be a on going treatment option if you didn’t explore the cause more with the vet like we are planning to do. We tried this option after the vet suggested coconut oil or Vaseline. While this did help this balm has been much better for our dog. As you see by the photos his nose was sore and splits. And the second photo is his nose with improvement. This hasn’t solved his issue but made him more comfortable until we find the cause. We have used a good amount of this but mainly due to adding more on so it sinks into his skin in case of him licking it off. There is a travel version that could be used as a trial in case you aren’t sure if it will treat the issue. But if Vaseline has some improvement then I believe this will also be beneficial. I’ve given 4 stars as for us it’s an on going daily treatment where as we would like the issue resolved if possible. The product itself has worked well.

Firstly I am a busy mummy so I never find the time to write a review but oh my god! This stuff is amazing I was hesitant to buy it because of the price as a single mum but After using coconut oil on my Frenchies nose For the past year, maybe it was just getting really bad and not working anymore I have used a little bit of this every day and the change in her nose was so quick by the end of day one I could see a difference and by day three Her nose is absolutely perfectly fine Literally cannot believe it It will hundred percent be a rebuy I think I’ve actually put it on repeat ! Absolutely brilliant stuff. My dog has dry, sore jowels, i think its like a cold sore. Dry and cracks, then bleeds and obviously grey sore. I have tried all sorts and nothing does it long enough for any relief. So my last ditch attempt to get her to feel comfortable, was to try this. I put it on before going out on 2 walks and within 2 days the dry patch isn't dry, it hasn't gone completely, because she's scratches before I can stop her but the soreness is loads better. I will continue to use this even if its just to help her feel comfortable. Very happy with the speed of results...Not much smell if any at all. My dog tolerated it very well.

Incredible product which has hugely improved our boxer's dry nose which has been pitted and covered in unpleasant looking lumps for far too long, despite trying many things to soothe it, and completely healed the nose of our French bulldog which had spiked growths protuding from the top. Within a few days we saw a significant difference in the noses of both dogs - they look far more comfortable, black, shiny and healthy. We've used it a few times daily for 3 weeks and there's barely a dent in it so it seems it will last for a good while. Excellent product - wish we'd discovered it years ago.

Nice product. Used a couple of times on my dog, but results didn't really last and nose dried out a bit more then I liked. Now just use Vaseline.

Ho scelto questa crema perché è totalmente naturale e visto che va messa sul naso, non volevo che potesse leccarsi roba chimica. Nel giro di 3 giorni il tartufo della mia Bulla Inglese è tornato idratato e morbidissimo!!! Ho provato a mettergliela anche su una zona della schiena, dove a causa di una ferita, le si era fatta ormai da mesi una cicatrice e non ricresceva più nessun pelo. Ho provato a mettergliela anche lì, tanto mi son detta è naturale e male che sarebbe andata, non sarebbe successo nulla, ma il pelo dopo 5 mesi che non cresceva più, le è rispuntato di nuovo!!!! Sono felicissima!!!!

Das ist ein super Produkt! Nicht mal 1 Woche hat es gedauert, um die trockene, bröckelnde Nase meines frenchies wieder zum Leben zu erwecken! Diese Salbe bewirkt wunder!!! Ich habe seine Nase nur 1-2 mal täglich eingeschmiert.. meistens übernacht ganz dick wenn er schläft und nicht beim toben dazu kommt, sie sich abzuwischen.. Sie ist nicht mehr wieder zu erkennen. Außerdem ist sie nach dem die Salbe bereits eingezogen ist, sehr lange befeuchtet.. verhindert also immer wieder das eintrocknen! Kann ich ehrlich nur empfehlen.. ist ihr Geld auf jeden Fall wert!

Este producto se lo aplico varias veces a la semana, antes de dormir, a mi bulldog francés. Tiene la nariz muy seca y se le agrieta y este producto es maravilloso. A la mañana siguiente se despierta con la nariz completamente hidratada y reluciente. Es una auténtica maravilla. Al aplicárselo, al tener un olor como a miel, el se relame y mi otro perrito se acerca a lamersela también, así que tiene que tener un buen sabor.. jaja. Un show. La recomiendo al 100%!!!
