I always have doubts with adaptors like this, you think it may be poorly engineered and when you move the equipment you expect the power to cut out due to the adaptor being loose fitting. Not so with this, it seems secure and snugly fits both me Ryobi device and the DeWalt battery. So it allows me to buy the Ryobi stuff DeWalt doesnt make and use the abundance of DeWalt cells I already have. Be aware the adaptor only has the 2x power supply prongs, so you have to charge the batteries with the adaptor removed from the battery and obviously you need to charge them with the DeWalt charger, it can't be done with a Ryobi one.

Works as advertised. Ryobi battery died, so bought this to use my big ol' Dewalt batteries. Works perfectly, though a little tight to fit to the strimmer initially - just needed a bit of gentle persuasion.

Fundamentally what matters is this slots into a Roybi 18V tool and that a Dewalt compatible battery fits, and power tool then works as it should.Which is exactly what happens.The directions indicate that you can't then charge your Dewalt battery with this adaptor attached, so then in a Ryobi charger.No great shakes if you have a Dewalt battery chances are you have a charger for that. It does mean that if you were out on a long job you'd need to take both chargers with you.I haven't used the USB port, but it could be useful.

Used it loads of times now saved me buying new ryobi batteries.

Good adapter, works fine and can now use my Dewalt batteries on my Ryobi drill.

Better than buying a new battery pack excellent idea

We have a riobi garden tool and when I saw the cost of getting another battery for it, it made more sense to buy the adaptor to use my dewalt batteries that I have loads of instead It was far cheaper to do it this way & it works like a dream.

Bought to change between two makes of battery. It works well and saved on buying a new battery at three times the cost.

You’re looking at this because you own a riobi tool that you wish was dewalt. Let me tell you I put this adapter on my riobi 18 gauge nail gun and wow! Works so much better than I ever expected. Went from missing shots or not firing at all to consistent strong shots every time.

The product very good, my father loves it. The only issue I have is that they lied about the delivery status as they said they hand delivered it to me but they didn't; also put the wrong time it was delivered. I take these very seriously as we know alot of packages get stolen all the time; everything should be precise and accurate when it comes to their information. Other then that the product arrived within the time frame.

I have dewalt products for work and ryobi garden products at home. This adaptor means I can use my dewalt batteries that I have heaps of.

The media could not be loaded. ALMOST 5 Stars but…My ONLY issue thus far with the adapter is the fitment with the battery. There is a little bit of wiggle (battery mounted) on the battery side of the adapter but the adapter sits tight/perfect in the tool with no wiggle whatsoever.Otherwise it works flawlessly with my Milwaukee M18 batteries. I didn’t test the USB port on the adapter because it’s not what I bought the adapter for.
